Undead Unluck ended, but not with the undead guy banging the unlucky girl resulting in the world being destroyed.

Still, a rock solid 8/10 serial escalation series.
Undead Unluck, one of my favorite series, is over. Great epilogue, solid 8.5/10 overall, and I feel like the author could've made it a 10/10 with a little more time.

It was a great ride and a very nice surprise. Took it's time to hit it's stride, but once it did it was a consistent highlight of the week. too bad about the rushed ending but certainly don't regret my time with it and it's refreshing to have a nice ending after the shit My Hero, Oshi no Ko and Jujutsu Kaisen have been.

On the topic of Evangelion. I'll just say it's a "you had to be there" or "see it young" sort of series. I kind of get the same impression with Cowboy Bebop. Evangelion was one of the first anime series I as hooked into and even though it's a mess of word babel and depression, when you are younger and not used to seeing these sorts of things in the medium, it blows your goddamn mind. Probably the reason Bebop didn't really hit it off much with me since at that point I was very used to the medium and was honestly kind of underwhelmed with how episodic it was.

Best worst girl is Misato.
if we're talking about best girl in Eva. Mari is best girl she turned our boy straight and got him off the path of sin the demon kaworu put him on!

I will say I've been liking "I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time". It sounds like trash, but Cloverworks is working on it. It definitely shows, both in the writing and animation. It's fun, looks good, and is actually a fantasy and not a isekai.
Given it the 3 episodes try and kinda meh. It's the same joke over and over. And while it's not technically isekai, it does the same shit of making the whole setting so gamified and self aware it might as well be that. The main VA does her job well at least.
Enough Evangelion talk. Post your spider-waifu now.

I love that movie. Got the ending title card as one of my tattoos as well.

It's pretty unknown, unfortunately, since everytime I go around telling people that they should watch the movie after having finished the series, they always reply:"There's a movie?!"

If I remember correctly, unlike the series which was released on DVD in North America by Bandai Entertainment USA, the Cowboy Bebop movie was distributed in North America by Sony Pictures Classics and Sony didn't seem interested in putting out much of any marketing for either the theatrical release or the DVD in the United States and Canada.

Kind of ironic today given how much of the North American anime distribution market is now controlled by Sony.

I've been loving the kinnikuman manga lately. I went in blind to how long it was. Some fights drag on a little too long, but the absurdity both inside and outside the ring gives me a good giggle. I'm nearly caught up on revival now, but I'm seeing the last dozen or so chapters are only translated to Spanish.

Almost done with JoJolion. Holy fuck has Araki improved massively with female characters. Yasuho Hirose is easily one of his best characters across the entire series, and Paisley Park is one of the best Stands ever.

1) Zenigata should be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine.
2) Whenever Zenigata is not on-screen, other characters should be asking “Where’s Zenigata?”
Over here in Italy, Lupin is a pop culture icon.

Also, around 15 years ago the director of the movie "They Call Me Jeeg Robot" made a live action short based on Lupin III and it's pretty dope, with some great casting.

Best anime so far this season is Isekai Red Ranger. The scene where the mage girl looked at his RPG stat screen and instead it gave her a splash screen with uninformative cool trivia was the moment I realised the author has enough love for the genre to make the show more than a few jokes repeated again and again.
I wish they just made a straight-up Sentai anime rather than needing to have this crappy gimmick. I tried reading the manga a long time ago, and after the first few chapters it started descending into irrelevant nonsense. It also sucks because Satelight, like it or not, was one of the big drivers of decent mecha shows in the 2010s -- Nobunaga the Fool was as decent as you could expect most seasonal anime to be, Aquarion Logos is actually pretty cool once you get past the nonsense in the first half, Scared Rider Xechs is honest-to-god good from start to finish, and Unit Pandora was competent albeit a very bland and mediocre rehash of everything Kawamori had ever done (even the car was a ripoff of the Eureka Seven car) -- but now that they've been bought out by Kadokawa, they've become a sweatshop to adapt crappy manga and LN series, and they can't direct sufficient resources to their original shows like the new Aquarion, which couldn't even be bothered to make its Eldran-style launch sequence (apparently the Vectors launch from gates aligned along the x, y, and z axes, so that's cool) exciting. Apparently Kawamori is supposed to direct a movie this year; I wonder what it's going to be like.

Way too degenerate to be a good waifu lol

I tried reading it... but it just isn't catching me, I stopped when it was still a gag manga but the first tournament thing happened. Is it worth soldering on?

I swear, knowing Spanish is second only to learning Japanese for reading manga.

and after the first few chapters it started descending into irrelevant nonsense
That's a shame, it starts really good.

Oh right, Ghost in the Shell.

I love Stand Alone Complex, I watched the first season of 2045 a few years ago but then forgot to watch the second part. My question is...

...favourite Section 9 member?

And why the answer is always: every single one?

Batou has always been my favorite. Sick design, he kicks ass, what more do you need?
