You can tell what the objective of all of this is by the questions that are being asked on the memorandum. They are very clearly looking to excise and remove all mentions of DEI/tranny/gaynigger/2020 Cultural Revolution shit out of these programs completely, and cut funding to NGOs and leftist activists. The angle of trying to deflect and say that this is going to take away Medicaid/remove Veterans' benefits/starve people or is somehow a prelude to a massive reduction on that front is, in my opinion, absurd.

I’ve known too many nerds to buy into intelligence equating life success. It does help certainly though. There’s also a difference between executive function, social awareness, and intelligence. There’s a lot of smart people who are not functional. I certainly wouldn’t want Mensa autists running everything

IMO part of the reason there was a stigma in society against intelligence is that for a long time it was a detriment to be creative if you’re working in a factory or mine. And there weren’t as many opportunities for bright people. Now days being smart can be an asset because of the tech sector. I’d also argue that being socially impaired is a bigger detriment than being an idiot because we humans are inherently social beings.

I would also say that there is a common misconception about intelligence. Intelligence has multiple spheres. It isnt just how good you are at math, but also social intelligence, kinesthetic, and more if you wanna look up Howard Gardner's theory of intelligence.

Those nerds could be high in mathematical and linguistic intelligence, but poor in all others meaning they arent really an intelligent person... just an idiot savant.

Congress can fix this easily. The constitution invested them with the power to make the law, and the admin the power to enfore the law.

Congress can easily easily hold a vote tomorrow and enshrine in law TTD or total tranny freedom. But that takes political capital. They might not get relected.

Any bets on how long it will take for Democrats to become a unified force with a universally appealing message that could actually be a good opponent against MAGA? With how much idpol and obvious infighting between various factions, I say at least a year for an optimistic estimate.

At this rate, I think the only two things that would give the Left an edge against Trump is if another pandemic or a recession occurs and the Left can hoodwink enough people to think they would be better able to deal with those problems.

Wouldn't these literally only make things worse? Like, ICE isn't going to seize the kids in school because it is likely to be too much of a hassle and they wanna kick the entire family out. If they show up and when asked they get a card like this won't they just ignore it and go into the school administration and check the data on the kid, bypassing them and any sort of need for seizure and shit?

And if they are on the illegal home why do they assume that ICE won't already come with a warranty to search for illegals?

I don't see why ICE would bother going to the school, they can just pick them up on their way home, or more likely at their home during dinner time.
