For those dumb enough to discuss politics in person, do you notice how much misinformation people tend to spread, typically without even realizing? I was shooting the shit with someone when the no overtime tax topic came up, and they said "yeah too bad it doesnt matter for us, its only for people that work over 80 hours"
I thought that sounded wrong but kept quiet, looked it up later and I cannot find a single thing mentioning anything like that. Is it true? Am I wrong?
The same thing happens with a leftist I know. Constant misinformation that I can't even find a single article on making the claim. Where do people read this stuff?
All over BlueSky, Reddit and Legacy media. The problem with these outlets is that there is no way to even try to argue because you get banned for defending Tangerine Palpatine.

They are not designed to give you info, they are designed for you to download the "instructions", it essentially turns people into antennas who only spread the instructions to others. It's a one way communication channel.

Mental healthcare is also not just something violent retards and troons need. Otherwise normal people with treatable disorders sometimes end up needing inpatient care. Also, treating vulnerable people like shit because it gives you a spiteboner is fucked up.
Exactly. I ask, who determines who goes into the asylums? Some guy with depression? Or all the retards? Either way you are stripping those people of rights by forcing them EN MASSE to go there. Fuck that

My state did the same thing with our state union workers. It worked. Lots of boomers who where top pay scale where just hanging out not thinking about retiring. The take it and get paid now or keep working and get nothing extra choice pushed a lot out of the door and opened up slots for younger people (at the bottom of the pay scale). Win for the tax payer and a win for zoomers trying to get their foot in the door.
Certain institutions just need to be burnt to the ground.

You really don’t need new “lifers” in the government jobs or teachers union positions where all but the absolutely worst defenses get you removed.

The boeings of the world should have been out of business decades ago.

How are they this delusional?? I can never take this ww2 comparisons seriously because in an actual dictatorship, half of them would be dead or in prison for criticizing trump openly and publicly.

> no more free food for tards
> no more troonshit to mock
> no more fagshit to mock
> libs are all living in defeat or fully crashed out
> no more brownoid rageout compilations

How can we ever recover kiwisisters? Can Josh be appointed the official cow philanthropist to give tardbux to the best cows?

They could be released from the cow zoo in televised milkgathering events. I imagine what would happen if KingCobra got his clock tower, rackets got a balldo hut and the silverback Ralphamale got a dusty harambe pit with a tortashack in the middle. Don’t forget the historically accurate popeye’s complete with fat black cashiers and methed out Martin in the vestibule.
All this for the price of NPR and PBS!
To those debating the asylums, we have a solution

I am glad Deepseek took ChatGPT down a notch. A lot of funding was getting funneled into what will become the biggest anti-trust case in us history. They wanted and still want to pass laws to restrict open source models. Much like the SD 1.5 leak, we need to democratize LLMs before it gets locked behind the globalhomos.
OpenAI deserved to be humbled, especially since we're still in the planning stage of the tax-funded Stargate project which will see them potentially makes lots of money at the expense of American citizens.

I'm just saying early buy out offers work. My bet there is lots of boomers who are tired of working or near retirement that will take the OPM offer. Now the feds can just choose to not replace them and then achieve their goal of shrinking the bloat.

Reddit. They take some retard's message that has 200 upvotes as the God's honest truth without a second thought.
Id assume from shit like tiktok and facebook. I have a few coworkers that genuinely believe that Trump is going to do away with overtime and make you work a bajillion straight time hours.

Yeah, I was just extra puzzled because the guy that said the 80 hrs thing is pro trump and probably doesn't know what a reddit is. Maybe my hopes for the average citizen was too high, thinking people wouldn't take a random facebook comment as fact.

The outspoken mud golem I have to deal with at work was complaining about that exact issue. She thought no OT tax meant we'd be penalized for working voluntary OT because the company would have to pay us more. She thought she was so smart and realized the REAL effects of the policy without knowing the basics of payroll tax. It's a never ending stream of half-digested propaganda and outspoken ignorance with these people.

I've been hearing word from several sources that ICE has been telling Navajo tribe members to prove their citizenship. Most seem to be reported by left wing sources but I wonder if it's just Trump Derangement Syndrome or if Trump is really that power mad.
They do look like Beaners.

I have a wagon burner buddy that I initially thought was Mexican. He didn't appreciate the insinuation.

Clock me if this was already posted, but I cannot fucking believe this story.

Bold has been added by me.

"OPM sued over privacy concerns with new government-wide email system" (archive)
Two federal employees are suing the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to block the agency from creating a new email distribution system — an action that comes as the information will reportedly be directed to a former staffer to Elon Musk now at the agency.

The suit, launched by two anonymous federal employees, ties together two events that have alarmed members of the federal workforce and prompted privacy concerns.

That includes an unusual email from OPM last Thursday reviewed by The Hill said the agency was testing “a new capability” to reach all federal employees — a departure from staffers typically being contacted directly by their agency’s human resources department.

Also cited in the suit is an anonymous Reddit post Monday from someone purporting to be an OPM employee, saying a new server was installed at their office after a career employee refused to set up a direct line of communication to all federal employees.

According to the post, instructions have been given to share responses to the email to OPM chief of staff Amanda Scales, a former employee at Musk’s AI company.

Federal agencies have separately been directed to send Scales a list of all employees still on their one-year probationary status, and therefore easier to remove from government.

The suit says the actions violate the E-Government Act of 2002, which requires a Privacy Impact Assessment before pushing ahead with creation of databases that store personally identifiable information.

Kel McClanahan, executive director of National Security Counselors, a non-profit law firm, noted that OPM has been hacked before and has a duty to protect employees’ information.

“Because they did that without any indications to the public of how this thing was being managed — they can’t do that for security reasons. They can’t do that because they have not given anybody any reason to believe that this server is secure….that this server is storing this information in the proper format that would prevent it from being hacked,” he said.

OPM declined to comment on the lawsuit.

McClanahan noted that the emails appear to be an effort to create a master list of federal government employees, as “System of Records Notices” are typically managed by each department.

“I think part of the reason — and this is just my own speculation — that they’re doing this is to try and create that database. And they’re trying to sort of create it by smushing together all these other databases and telling everyone who receives the email to respond,” he said.

A Friday email from OPM instructed employees to respond “yes” to test messages to confirm they can be reached by the agency.

The involvement of Scales comes as Musk, her former employer, has been tapped to lead the Department on Government Efficiency (DOGE), an advisory group focused on slashing the size of the federal workforce and budget.

DOGE as well as OPM have been tapped to form “a plan to reduce the size of the Federal Government’s workforce through efficiency improvements and attrition” — a move detailed in an order from Trump to institute a federal hiring freeze.
They are doing exactly what others pointed out in the thread a few days ago: they want to slow-walk any change in the bureaucracy by demanding a fucking study before making changes. Also, the way it's written, it sounds like they're clinging to HR departments. What kind of a sissy boy wants an HR department for any reason other than payroll?

I also suspect many feds don't want anyone finding out that they use their federal e-mail for OnlyFans, leaking shit, and other malicious purposes. These people pride themselves on pursuing malicious compliance on the public dime. I don't care if people do this with private corporations, but don't waste public monies for your hissy fit.

Can we also enjoy the fact that these morons are so fucking dumb that they broadcast what they're doing on REDDIT? Talk about opsec failure.
