I’m pretty sure translate from voice is in every phone OS these days. The only difference I’ve seen is I think Google (I just remember it being a commercial with some woman in a Thai restaurant) has a phone that can flip to show each person what the other is saying, and I think translating text messages after they’re sent and recieved.

With BiBi, it was clear he was upset at coming home from work and finding his fridge cleared out, or waking up to the smell of lobster Mac and cheese, but she used her baby voice to soothe., like she does with Salad when wanting more food. Off camera it is probably different but she’s been successful keeping this part of her offline. Even though she wasn’t exactly raging at Salad, she got ice cold and threatening and he certainly heard it at home. It was interesting to see this behavior.

As far as the money goes, I do thinks Chins can recognize coins and what they are worth. Even 4 year olds do that. She might get confused at the exchange rate but she can look at a coin and say Canadian Quarter, 50 Fil coin…what she can’t do is SEE. In the dark, with the lure of ice cream, and a leaking diabetic eye, with the other wandering free, I’d bet she couldn’t tell the difference.

She has admitted a few times that she gets pissy (not the word she used, but something similar) with Salah when he won't let her have the food she wants. We have seen her get pissy with him on a few occasions on camera (like when she wanted him to help her put the cone on Julia) and she told us she called him "a pig and a coward" the first time they "broke up"). She tries hard to keep this off camera so as not to ruin the image of a "perfect relationship" (even though she's fooling no one), but I imagine it happens A LOT off camera . Remember when she came online and announced she was going back to Canada for good (then walked it back the following day)? That must have been after one doozy of a fight with Salah. We also used to see her pop off on Peetz in unguarded moments during lives.

What was interesting this time is when she blamed SALAH for her not knowing which coin was which and and not being able to communicate with the ice cream vendor because HE wasn't with her. That was when she seemed to be at her angriest during the exchange. I have long suspected that Salah has realized that he can't curb her gluttony (unless he wants to be subjected to her wrath) but has decided to no longer actively participate. She probably did ask him to go with her on the Hardees run and he noped out. If she had Thai and/or Canadian coin, it means he probably also followed through with hiding his wallet and she had to scrape by with what she had.

Salah is definitely becoming less and less tolerant of her nonsense. Let's hope this Kuwait arc wraps up soon. My condolences to Canada for having to take her back.

They may have initially tolerated her as a means to an end, but I'm guessing that it's now clear to everyone around him that she can't get him to Canada.
Shaming, internalised or otherwise, is a big thing in Arab culture and it should be hitting him hard.
