Not sure where else to post this, but with all the talk of DEI this info I got from a friend was interesting.

My neighbor knows someone who started a big “therapy” business in the area and apparently it runs entirely on grants and funds for “black women business owners” and now she is pissed that her business will go under because the freeze on DEI will cause her to lose access to the funds. She was also mad about the MLK files being declassified.

It's essentially the creation myth of modern progressivism.

It also established the nutzees as the ultimate evil in said creation myth.

Dweebs on reddit and other lefty spaces claim to be morally complex but more than anything else they desire a villain they can rage against in the simple black and white morality play that is their lives.

Just like their shitty pop culture like Star Wars or whatever.
They kinda ruined wwii history. Although it’s kinda funny how in a short span of a few years the American military goes from chungus wholesome to Nazis because they didn’t let the ussr rape the planet.

It’s a lot of money, but at a point it’s like ok, how do I even enjoy it? The stress you would bring home from it would be life ruining, I think

Airline pilots make a lot of money, and they’re essentially sentenced to a life of living in hotels in places where the only people they know are other airline workers.

Idk, I think I just couldn’t do it personally because it’s like, someone could die if you got distracted and I get distracted easily

Ok I'm gonna go slightly off topic because this is my personal brand of autism special interest, but in the original Star Wars EU the Emperor was doing something objectively correct by making the empire and making the whole Galaxy militaristic and focused on domination because he was preparing for the invasion of a genocidal species called the Yuuzhan Vong. He was retconned by the EU into an actually very complicated character doing the right thing at all costs.

This of course got re-retconned by Disney just turning him into le epic evil man lmao.

To swerve back on topic, this is just to show some people HATE anything being justified or complex in their good vs evil stories, to the degree where if there is an evil group of people that agree with their ideals, they tend to be portrayed as the good guys actually. (In the original EU the Rebels and Luke taking down the Empire almost caused the entire galaxy to be genocided, so arguably they were the Evil ones)

He's becoming a Christian fundamentalist and even said the Satan panic is fake/never happened and Christians/right wing never tried to censor shit.
Can you cite this?
You misunderstood, Razor thinks there was no one freaking out about DnD and that the Satanic Panic itself never happened. He believes things like Chic Tracks, Christians trying to censor things, and so on never happened. He believes only Democrats ever tried to control media and he's saying this because he's a born again Christian.
Ive been following this guy for a good number of years and I don't know where your coming from on this.

In my opinion his biggest blunder was how he approached Lincoln and made an hour long video about that. His discussion about Lincoln being a tyrant who's actions have bit us in the ass these days is thunk provoking and has basis in some truth. However, he appeared to take a lot of southern narratives at face value without digging too deep. It made for an video that doesn't hold up under historal scrutiny.

He can be a try hard but his instincts for the political world are genuinely good. I noticed a lot of people tearing him down without actually breaking down his videos in a specific instance.

I'm looking forward to this, because the end result is that instead of having my childhood memories being subverted by corporations making slop, I could have a AI service or a device under my tv that will make bespoke slop that I define the details such as what is or isn't acceptable. Then corporations would be unable to compete on slop so they try making new and good things instead in order to survive.

Lincoln WAS a tyrant, but I guess sometimes civil wars require a bit more than gentle buttpats to resolve.

He was also an extremely sketchy lawyer, but he had some cool logs named after him

I rate him “meh”
