Once it ends, I'll get right on that. Don't think I can download and snip something in progress. Unless someone can give me the way to do it! I'd love to have that, it'd be way better than what I'm doing now.
It may be less elegant than yt-dlp, but what I do most of the time is pop-out the video using Picture-in-Picture on Firefox and window capture that in OBS. If I get any of the video player UI I'll just trim it in Premiere then export. If the stream let's you seek backwards then you can capture clips while it's live that way if yt-dlp doesn't let you.

>bernie asks for a study about vaccines, RFK says that he wants to talk about it more with bernie.
>bernie badgers him to cite a study specifically.
>RFK cites a study by name, bernie doesn't know it.
>"sorry don't have a lot of time."
>enters 16 random studies we don't have any chance to read into the record assuming there's no objection
>asks RFK if he's happy, RFK asks what some stat is on the study
>"SORRY DON'T HAVE A LOT OF TIME WE HAVE TO MOVE ON."

couldn't be any more fucking open about your contempt for him, and your dishonesty with the discussion about the covid studies.
Bernie is mad because he's talking to someone who didn't grovel to the party twice.

Well, now she's locked in, because these ghouls could claim she committed perjury if she changes her mind.
At least with the Snowden thing, it's not really her choice. I didn't know perjury applies to these hearings, though.
it doesn't, he's a retard. it applies to the statements they make in the pre-hearing documents, which are legal statements of fact. kash mentioned earlier in his confirmation that he disclosed a lot of financial earnings as a government worker. these hearings are not legally binding, it's just for the senators to have a chance, ostensibly, for them to ask questions and put their mind at ease about things they want to know if this nominee will do.

At the moment it's just being used by the democrats to scream at the confirmation candidates.

Every statement made by a human being carries with it an implicit warning: "to the best of my limited understanding at the present moment." Being under oath doesn't make you able to see the future and you don't swear to never learn new information or change your mind in the future.

@Meat Target
Here's the segment of Senator Bennet going full theater kid on Tulsi. It ends when there's a break to talk about a few disruptions that happened while he was sperging out.

"IT IS NOT A HARD QUESTION! YES OR NO! WAS HE A TRAITOR!?"
"Durr PRISM was a conspiracy theory!"

These vermin deserved much worse than J6.

They flipped shit about Kavanaugh voting to overturn Roe after saying during his confirmation that it was "settled law". Are they under oath during these hearings?
perjury requires knowingly and willingly lying. if you don't believe at the time that you will do something, and then your mind is changed because the circumstances around things change (such as you getting into office and learning new context about something) you are not committing perjury.

if they're not under oath then it doesn't even matter, though.

back in kash patel's confirmation, he's being told that he doesn't support police officers because he doesn't know every single individual in the police who has ever applied to his foundation to help police officers injured in the line of duty.

>about to start laying into patel
>grassley cuts him off and says his time is up.

can more of these chair heads be as tough as grassley?

This should be timestamped to Bernie starting his rant about corruption followed by RFK Jr. calling him out for taking $1.5 million from Big Pharma.

The two in the back are all of us in this moment, a nation united as a scumbag is called out to his face. God bless.

"You took 1.5 million-"
"1.5 million out of 200 million."
Fuck yooooou.

Seeing how insanely deep the DEI rot was at the FAA isn't surprising but god dam hiring legit retards on purpose is evil.

Don't blame Trump for railing on them today the rot is so deep in every in this country when it comes to this shit.

Time to catch up on these hearings now.
Trump telling journoscum they're retards never gets old

I am having a hard time deciding whats more cringe. Bernie working overtime for his pharmaceutical masters or RFK trying his damnest to avoid calling Bernie a sellout.
