I have a relative who was thrown out of the army for getting into a fight with someone and almost killing them. The problem being it was another army dude.
Seems a pretty quick way to get tossed out is to be violent against your own people.

Which makes sense if you think about.
And this was during the GWOT timeframe.
And also in a non-vital MOS, he was a carpenter or some shit I don't remember it was years ago.

They REALLY terminated her for misconduct and gave her an Honorable Discharge???
General Discharges and Honorable are two different things.

Honorable means benefits and all that are included, no punishments, basically you had a sterling record and didn't do anything wrong. General is meted out when you fuck up but it's not a real hindrance to you or others. It's normally used for people who fail PT tests because they're fat, so they didn't meet Army standards but they didn't do anything criminal. It's a "You fucked up and we don't want you, but you didn't do anything we can nail you for" kind of deal.

As to giving her a General: I've seen people who were caught snorting coke, dead to rights and everything, still getting a General because they didn't do anything solidly criminal. I've also seen Dishonorable Discharges for less. It's schizophrenic, depending on the unit, the person, and if command liked you or not. I had a guy fail PT standards and get an Honorable because his command team loved him. He should have gotten a General at most.

As someone who unfortunately served, to be thrown out of the military at all is a very intensive and difficult task. You'd have to be a totally useless fucktard to do so, let alone get a misconduct charge.

Edit: That time in Iraq she likes jerking off about was only three months with some change. That she got thrown out barely half a year after coming back home, I'm guessing something happened in the sandbox.

At that time in Iraq, i don’t think the Army was doing short deployments like that. This was shortly after the invasion. Regular deployments were like 7 - 12 months. I suspect she did some shit in order to get senot home, probably on purpose.

According to them, line 28 is the reason for discharge: Misconduct
Man she was a dirtbag. Wouldn't be surprised if she got demoted for sleeping with a higher up.

Oh really? So it's still "OTH"? I know "OTH" is the bad one.
General is usually you failed to meet your duty but weren't killing hookers. ie, they sucked at their job, didn't adjust to military life, or failed some sort of training multiple times. The most common one is usually failure to adapt to military life. But if I had to guess she didn't meet height and weight standards but they didn't want to fuck her over with an OTH

General can be upgraded to Honorable after 2 years with a bit of effort. Without going too deep into it or making this about me, I did some dumb shit that involved an officer's daughter that liked playing barracks bunny. Me and said officer both decided I would take a general instead of fighting it with a real likely chance of getting muddied up real bad.

Other than Honorable is a bad one, but not as bad as Dishonorable, and is different from a General Discharge. OTH is basically fucking up big time, but scraping by without a court-martial. That's an admin discharge instead of a punishment, but you still lose your benefits and a chance to re-enlist. Basically for when people fuck up bad and need to be thrown out, but not for anything truly serious.

I spoke to a veteran and it's most likely this is for AWOL as they witnessed other soldiers go AWOL and get this kind of discharge, this was GWOT days too. Apparently they don't want to waste a bunch of time sending out people to track down AWOLs and court-martial them so they just discharge them this way and wash their hands of it. Bad behavior that's not serious enough to warrant the resources to put someone in jail, we see this in the civilian courts too.

An FOIA should get the exact details, though.

So let me see if I got the types of discharges straight:
  • Honorable: You increased Raytheon's stock price like a good little soldier.
  • General: You caused problems in the ranks, but nothing major.
  • OTH: You did something bad and are now an embarrassment the army wants to get rid of.
  • Dishonorable: Enjoy court martial, child.
Is that about right?

She got thrown out of the Army when they were desperately in need of ground troops.
She was probably so fucking useless even having her sweep floors and empty latrines or peel potatoes was hopeless.
I've also seen Dishonorable Discharges for less.
You only get a DD or the Big Chicken Dinner upon court-martial.

(I know someone who was married to a guy who cheated on her in the Army and it also caused drama on the base and was vindictive about it and the guy ended up court-martialed, ending with a DD. They will fuck your shit up for that.)

I did my time and I will say this: This whole form reeks of someone who likely got hit by an article 15 or two to retain E1, and was unable to do even the most basic task of showing up on time, in the right place, and in the right uniform. I could go on for a while about some of the absolute bottom of the barrel personnel we had to deal with, but it is very difficult to be removed from the service so easily. People try all the damn time. To get discharged with an honorable like this implies some fascinating levels of shitbaggery that I've seen in only exceedingly rare instances.

It is incredibly difficult to get an other than honorable. Easiest way is to do drugs or piss off the right people. As for a dishonorable,I've only ever seen two dishonorables in my career; one was a drunk sailor who crashed and murdered a newborn infant on its way back from the hospital and the other was two individuals who had been selling heroin and tried to force a third conspirator to OD in his sleep for fear that he'd snitch on them. Everyone else I've ever seen in my time was honorable despite being a shitbag (this on its own face is incredibly difficult, they usually put your somewhere where you can get away with being useless) or other than honorable for drug related charges. I'm sure someone else here will have more or better insight, but that's from my own eyes.

I want to emphasize this point: in order to not get kicked out as an E1 in the military, there are three basic things you need to be able to do: be at the right place, at the right time, and in the right uniform. If you cannot do those things, I don't know what to tell you. I'm not sure how Jackie got even this far with anything.

You'd have to be a spectacular fuck-up to get a general discharge in 2003. The fact she even mentions serving when she did a year and change is embarrassing, but this is Jackie motherfucking Singh.

Nice discharge, stupid :story:

I've heard of some medical discharges even being written up as general discharges, but it entirely depends on how schizo the snibba in charge of your discharge is. You would have to be a mega retard to get less than a general discharge though. I'm willing to guess that Snackie was either a barracks bunny (desperate times, please do not ask) or she was habitually late to her postings. This is literally the most common reason I've heard of for someone to get raked over the coals. It's also a great way to make everyone around you leave you hanging out to dry.

Jesus Christ between this new info and the whole "losing custody of her child" thing, this is starting to cross the line between hilarious and depressing for me

:(
Just read a couple of her arrogant shitbag posts, usually only takes two or three before you go 'oh, right, 100% deserves everything'.

I knew Don Walker. He was a Marine that murdered a guy in Virginia in the early 2010's. I don't even think he got a dishonorable discharge. The base handed him over to the Virginia police and they administratively separated him. I don't think he has an honorable/dishonorable discharge status at all. They just washed their hands of him. If they did hold a court martial for him, he was present for it.

A guy I was stationed with in Pensacola with murdered a county sheriff's son. I think they did the same with him but I never met him or had info coming directly from his command.
