If the Civil War was about slavery, than why was the Corwin Amendment proposed? You know, the thing that would have made slavery constitutionally protected? What about The Tariff of Abominations? Or the fact that slavery was legal in many Union states during and after the Civil War. Anyone who believes that the Civil War was about slavery is a fucking rube.
Question, have you even read the Secession documents? Every single fucking one of them mentions slavery in the first paragraph.
I take no issue with Southerners having pride over their heritage, and the demonization of Confederate Veterans in recent decades, such as the Great Robert E. Lee, is a crime and needs to be rectified. But to try and blatantly lie and say that Southern States seceded for a noble, non-slavery cause just makes you look like a weasel who needs to whitewash their history to take pride in it.

Speaking of conspiracy theories and lab leaks, RFK Jr's admission that he probably said Lyme disease could be a lab leak caught my attention.
But he did clarify he had only heard of the idea, hadn't read the books, and hadn't looked into it himself. Basically "I heard someone say it. It might be true, it might not. I don't know."

I found this article (Archive) talking about one of the books he was probably talking about.
Now, the author herself says the evidence for Lyme disease itself is circumstantial, but that there was a lab near where the outbreak started and some other supporting evidence of the idea. I haven't read the book either though so I don't know how credible the idea is.

To be clear, they aren't saying Lyme disease is artificial. Rather there was gain of function testing to make it deadlier and harder to treat, from my understanding. So they took an existing disease (which we know as we have 5000 year old remains where it's present) and messed with it to make it worse. Allegedly.

If RFK Jr gets into HHS what's the likelihood he'll look into this and release a report?
Given 500k new cases of Lyme per year and many chronic cases as a result would they even be willing to release the information given the possibility of a shitstorm?

I have family members who developed long term issues from diagnosed Lyme disease. I doubt they'd be happy if the government came out with some "Yeah so about that...." type of shit.
I'm not confident it's even true. Haven't read the book like I said. But I'm disturbingly not seeing it as impossible either.

I love Trump 2.0. His admin dishes out a pound of pettiness for every ounce of liberal smugness from the last 8 years. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a detailed list of slights hiding away somewhere
Trump having a book of groodges sounds plausible. I hope there adressess there as well, just in case they decide to go on the run.

Of the thirteen States that are part of the The Declaration of Causes of Seceding States, a whopping four states mention slavery. Those being South Carolina, Mississippi, George, and Texas. Three more later mentioned it, that being Alabama, Arkansas, and Virginia. That's seven out of thirteen. Barely more than half the states mentioned slavery. But sure, it was only about "slavery". By the way, that still ignores how the Corwin Amendment (making slavery constitutionally protected) was proposed and rejected. Or how Delaware, Maryland, Kentucky, and Missouri were allowed to continue practice slavery while remaining in the Union.

There's something about Kash Patel's 24/7 Psycho stare—and I mean like the Hitchcock classic Psycho (1960)—that gives credence to Trump's trust in him. Nobody would look at a panel of U.S. Senators with an unerring bloodthirsty stare unless he meant business.

(I inserted thumnails if they're still too big please don't hit me :()

He looks like someone who got a slight overcorrection for an exotropia problem. Could just be very mild esotropia but IDK, a lot of people of a specific almost-autistic type have that intermittent exotropia going on and surgical corrections often end up looking like this.

that's actually depressing
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety
I fucking WISH I could afford being an alcoholic. Hell even before COVID I wanted to be a handle a day and in the gutter.
I've done a handle a day. It's possible. Don't do it.

My dude, anything is better than the soul crushing reality of this cold dark rock we live on. Ruled by the most depraved sons of bitches ever. We are basically rats running in mazes for the entertainment of old ballsacks that call themselves human. This is a sick world with virtually no mental healthcare, and what there is, is boiling vomit.

Yet Trump won and we keep winning. Doom no more, Kiwifriend. This world rules and being alive is great.

If someone wants to do a version of this with Johnny Bravo instead of Carl, I'd be fucking stoked.

Black People Twitter Flipping Out
I'll tell you, it makes me wonder how many of them irl think this way.
The white cucks in the comments are worse.
Quite a few Blacks in the United States revel in their racial consciousness and are completely fine with discrimination unless it effects them so nothing out of the ordinary here.
