He's painted himself into a corner and has no choice but to triple down.

I don't think Vavra had to do much to get him on the dole either. Mack was an admin on the old Mafia fansite when it was around which of course Vavra had involvment in. He also made a video nearly in tears talking about how amazing the first game was. He's danny boy's #1 fan and will do anything for him.

I fear this will weaken the progress of anti woke movement, because we are already infighting each other over this game. Divide et Impera. And Blackrock's Larry Fink might smile at the current atmosphere on internet.

It hurts to say but a game can be WOKE but GOOD at the same time. Gameplay wise I mean. For example I played Forza Horizon 5 despite having some little pozz in character selection menu, I play for the car racing not the cringe and shit story.
And I don't think it isn't wrong to play games with little pozz if you don't support the devs or get corrupted by it. You can also mod those games to ditch the gay shit.

But it is bad to pretend such games are based when they had to make concessions to satisfy certain targets we don't know for sure.
Unfortuantely many "anti-woke" people showed their true face like WorthtoBuy, Grummz, Daniel Vavra. No wonder Grummz has a thread here on KF because he had signs of a grifter.

I think the problem it comes to "What threshold makes a game based or not?"
I want to hear from @Activelo @Bilibin @Serbian Peacekeepers what are their threshold of wokism in games?

I consider the signs of wokeness:
  • sanitized language, "modern language"
  • progressive values insterted into the plot (not old communist type values, leftist neoliberal types like carbon footprint, austerity, critical theory, etc.) (Saints Row, etc.)
  • Forced Diversity, forced token characters. (Thats the most common trait in woke media).
  • Historical, cultural revisionism (Common in media based on history, cultures).
  • Deviation from the norm (pushing gay innuendos, making main character gay, etc)
Forza Horizon 5 has the
  • sanitized language trait (character pronouns, the ability to crossdress and other people will address by some they/them pronoun, but are avoidable)
  • a bit of cultural revisionism in how they present Mexico (though I didnt play so much the story events, I mostly raced without knowing the story).
These traits are lighter because it is a racing game, the presenters are typical of Mexico demographics, it was approved by Mexican goverment (they assisted at the how it is portrayed the game, though it is not a guarantee it wont be woke) and the story is almost non existent.
Those are low enough to make me want to play the game and doesnt offend me. But I dont consider it a based game. It doesnt go against the grain.

Kingdom Come 2 has the following confirmed:
  • Forced Diversity and Historical Revisionism: It is much higher than in Forza Horizon 5 because it inserts a token black character spouting Religion of Peace shitlib propaganda. It feels forced and I heard it is part of the plot.
  • Historical Revisionism: Gay relationships are extremely rare in a puritanical society. I heard it can be avoided, but I am unsure if the player will still see the gay innuendos or not which are still unpopular. Also it feels as a departure from the lore of the first game.
KC2 seems more pozzed than Forza Horizon 5 ironically. And we don't even know what else could be in this game. A lot of discussion on this forum is mostly us researching into this game because Daniel Vavra seems to be a hypocrite. I am doubtful the pozz is genuine. I know there could be genuine devs wanting to insert homosexuality in a game, but unfortuantely everything has been messed up by ESG requirement, making everything a shitlib propaganda. And such homosexuality could be less questioned if it was marketed towards LGBT audience, not the general masses.

I also consider Embracer Group a vile corporation. There is an obscure youtuber that is a huge Saints Row fan, and he researched what happened to Saints Row remake.
I dont trust them to let Vavra free to do anything else. Almost all Embracer Group games are pozzed.

I might do an summary of the series when I feel like it, I am tired and will be busy in near future.


My advice to you is to NOT PREORDER IT, to NOT BUY IT ON RELEASE DAY, and wait for kiwifarms to research the game.
Dont trust blindly popular reviews, some are bought, others will blindly defend the dev because they are friends or love the first game.
It is hard to not be biased in these situations.

If you buy on first day, you might become responsible for funding an hypocrite developer and giving him a signal to continue lying and shoving woke bullshit.

Can you point out where this supposed meddling is shown? I skimmed the videos for any time Embracer or Deep Silver is talked about and he's just yapping and doesn't have anything to show a causal link or evidence of them exerting pressure on their studios. It's just him saying so, but uh... that's not really evidence of meddling.

We have made so little progress it simply doesn't matter at this stage. All the claimed victories are only such because normies didn't buy. The actual product did more damage than anything the 'anti-woke' did. People are starting to see 'woke' as being a shit product. That is why the subversion like that is being done in KCD2 needs to be outed as fast as possible. Hiding it behind the refund window is the new plan.

This should be default behavior.
Especially these days, when most games are broken messes on launch and they are half baked, as the developers sell the other half as DLC.
All you have to do is, be a bit patient and buy/torrent the game after at least a year passed. At that point, most bugs are fixed, the game runs better and you can probably get a version of it, that contains all the DLC bullshit, so you get the full experience, for less than the original price (or for free, if you travel the seven seas).
I mean, look at that fucking roadmap for KCD2, they plan to add a bunch of features throughout the year, which should be included in the base game. I don't give a shit about some of them being free. Imagine you buy the game on launch day, play it for a few hours every day, finish it by the end of March, then they put in horse racing, blacksmithing, or whatever. Sure, you will be able to do these things, even after you 100% completed the game, but it will feel like an afterthought.

"Oh, yeah, let me get back to that game, I haven't played for a month, because there is now a detailed blacksmithing minigame, that should have been there from the start, cause Henry is the son of a blacksmith, but oh well, who cares. Oh great, I made a few amazing weapons and armor, that would have been super handy during those great big battles earlier, but I already finished all those quests, so now I can only use them against randomly spawned bandits/cumans. I guess I should start over and do a second playthrough... nah... maybe some other time."

Forgot that the videos are too long and they are meant to be watched like a documentary. Here I make a summary.

First Video:
  1. Describes the history of the series. And speaking of the remake, he describes how the trailer is a corporate woke slop that doesn't represent what the Saints Row fans wanted for 8 years.
  2. Reaction was hugely negative, official discord and subreddit was sanitized by the moderators affiliated with Embracer Group. Similar to what happened on Steam Forums in KC2.
  3. Saints Row is developed by Volition. Volition is owned by Deep Silver. Then Deep Silver is owned by Koch Media. And Koch media is also owned by Embracer Group. Showing how much less control have the smaller devs because of the 4 layers of corporate ownership.
  4. The publishers don't care about how good is the product. They only are interested in money and pleasing the shareholders. Since Volition is a subsidiary, it can't control its fate. They have to do what Depp Silver/Koch Media/Embracer Group wants or forces. otherwise, they are fired and replaced by other devs like a cog in a machine.
  5. Explains the concept of market research. And how it is applied in this context. Embracer probably realized games like Fortnite/Apex Legends are popular so they thought they might kill 2 birds with one 1 stone. Making a game for the Saints row fans and getting the mass of young players.
  6. Mentions that game cant be just treated as a normal product like sofas and chairs. A game is a complex thing, an art form that isn't easy to quantify. Also trying to appease everyone will make your product flop because it is soulless/corporate.
  7. As a final message he mentions how the western gaming industry is on downward trend. And if you want to send a good message, don't let yourself get manipulated by nostalgia and the brand.

Who cares if the shit was forced or not it's still in the game for the exact same reason whether Vavra or Embracer did it.
Veilguard wasn't forced, Dust Born wasn't forced, Concord wasn't forced, and most woke games aren't forced because they are made by woke developers. I will simply take Vavra at his word that he is the one who chose to do all this and simply call him a lying faggot grifter sellout.
