I am not well versed on economics so I can't speak to whether Trump's Tariffs will work or what knockback effects they might have, but I will say setting them up right at the start of his term is probably a smart idea. Gives him time to see negatives building up and allows him to implement course corrections before the midterms if things go south badly.

It's so funny when the tariffs Canada had on us forever get posted and people are like wtf?

Why would Canada tax themselves 298% on butter and 270% on milk? 238% on chicken and 245% on cheese? That seems very strange if it is indeed a tax on the people!
The right needs to plaster that everywhere. It ends any discussion of the tariffs Trump implemented as some moral or economic failing.

But no I don't care about any of that because it's all irrelevant.
75% or more of the mines that mexico has that has let it become such a heavy part of precious metal production all are within 200 miles of the border, usually a lot less, it might not drive the economy, but to say its worthless is very silly. you might as well say we should let Mexico buy back california and arizona and new mexico from us.
If you google Canadian dollar to US dollar, the Canadian dollar went down a bit just today.
we're about 6 weeks from the Canadian dollar being worth the least amount in history compared to the US dollar. it took the late 90s tech boom for their dollar to be this worthless, we're going to have to worry about Canadian illegals come 2026.
they gained independence the went through heads of state so quickly that there are some months that had three separate people filling the role
the average was a new head of state every 6 months for about 25 years. up until the revolution there was only about 6 guys that served longer than 3 years, all of them either dictators or stand ins for dictators. in general it takes a special mix of qualities for democracy to work and spics have none of them.

It’s afraid.
Bonus for the retards who think WW3 is gonna start because of tariffs.
I imagine that we are going to start to see which countries leaders are true believers or intelligent.
I'm curious which countries will actually try to play nice with us especially our so called allied nations.

I'm tired of the tariff line being touted "erm actually tariffs only hurt the host country at the end of the day" especially from fucking Canadians who have witnessed their own country's cost of living skyrocket, then they beg for more and ignore the tariffs they had (and have) before Trump took office. If people actually believed this then they wouldn't be addressing Americans and saying it constantly these past few days. Then let us fucking burn our hand on the stove and laugh at us instead of begging on your hands and knees that we're going to burn our hand.

It's so obvious it's going to hurt them more than us which is the fucking point.
That's because retards don't even know the basic of basic economics. They can't grasp the concept that tariffs don't work this way and that combined with everything else Trump wants to do, he'll get a lot of money.

What's China gonna do? Fight the US over the canal? They're gonna bend the knee or deal with the Trade War.
I imagine their plan is to you use their much stronger position than most other countries in a trade war as an incentive to embolden Mexico and Canada and try to get more of the Western nations who hate Trump to join in.

Irrelevant is not a synonym for worthless

Comparing California, Arizona and New Mexico to Sonora and Chihuahua is what is very silly lol
