It would be a 100% colony though. The Palestinians would have to have a hard think about what it would mean. It would be an unprecedent offer for the people of Gaza though. It would end the war with Israel at a stroke, but they would have to become Americans which is a huge fly in the ointment to the idea. Both for the existing Americans and the Palestinians.

The thing is, Musk's involvement was never a secret. He was always part of the platform with trump, there's that goofy picture of him jumping...

Nobody who voted for trump wouldn't have known that elon musk was going to be part of it, or that 'auditing the bureaucracy' wasn't a part of it. The base statement feels dead in the water.

The question you should ask is who the fuck wants Gaza? It’s a small portion of land besides mineral wealth that will be gone in 10 years. There are no ports. Remember Dark Brandon drowned like 100 sailors trying to build that dry dock 5 times over? It’s a money sink to redistribute federal money through private equity mainly in construction fees.
