Trump calls Gaza "the Riviera of the Middle East"
Did orange read my Kiwi Farms post?
Yeah that's a good plan. Turn Gaza into some kind of resort full of casinos and entertainment, while the West Bank can be the more industrial-farming focused area.
If they're really smart, make it an all-goes sin city. Get away with all the Shariah laws, have all the vices on full display. That will surely attract people from both the west seeking exotic company and the Middle East where looking at a woman's ankles gets you the noose.
Hell, they have a neighbour who's filled with people stereotypically fond of money.

The excuse of slums and open air prison whatever cope doesn't even work. South Korea and China were hellhole slums after WWII, I have heard of relatives who had to keep rats around in case of famine. Instead of daily seething about the nips and wanting to nuke Tokyo, lots of that energy was diverted towards the improvement of life. Just look at what El Salvador did in less than half a decade, they went from the most murderous shithole ran by gangs to one of the safest in Latin America (not saying much but still).

Maybe one day Hamas and many (not all) Palestinians can stop blaming their own failures on DA JOOZ.
Won't happen. One can wish.

what does usaid even do?
First off, it's not "US-AID". It's "USA-ID": "US-Agency-International Development".
Also, similar to when you're talking to a Scientologist and their definition of "technology" isn't the same as yours, the "Development" here probably isn't what you're thinking. People see the "development" and think things like bridges and hospitals and shit, and it does include that, but it's focused on "capacity building" and includes anything that can extend the US sphere of influence (that's why China and Russia banned USAID).
USAID funds anything that could be used to influence a population towards a goal that the US wants, which is why it does things like give money to the BBC in addition to doing things like funding gay comics in Guatamala.
I'd be willing to bet money they're also behind those "Gender relations" binders that one guy found in Afghanistan after the US pulled out.

Y'know... I'm weirdly okay with Gaza being controlled by the USA. That's a statement I never once thought would come out of my mouth, but here we are. It's not like it would be that far out of line with other solutions "offered." Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, and the KSA are all more or less bankrolled and defended by the USA, and they're the ones who are at the forefront of negotiations on behalf of the Palestinians.

He gets it. The Palestinians will inevitably chimp out at the US troops sent there, and then use that as an excuse to enact a final solution to the Gaza problem and carpet bomb it with B52s. And then build seafront property on top of the little that is left.
I prefer own our young adults not be cannon fodder for Trump's Middle East plan, the Palestinians are a problem the Jews will need to come up with a Final Solution for.

I feel like there has to be some other angle here. Force the Arab hand to actually control their land? A way to get all that oil and natural gas of the coast of Gaza?

Or is is simple a combo of drill baby drill & build baby build?
It's pretty simple as I see it. We're giving Aid to Palestine to fight Isreal, and then Aid to Isreal to fight Palestine.

If we just take Gaza - it's literally cutting our costs in half on premise. It's also a shot across the bow for everyone in the international community to either set up in support (like the entire Middle East) or shut the fuck up forever. It's going to end one way or another and fast.

Think of the damage the Department of Education could have done with more money. Look at the massive improvement in test scores we get with more money.

Oh - literally like 0%? Good thing we didn't burn all that cash. How the fuck do you have a Department that has done literally 0 good in it's entire existence and then try and defend it.
