I'm skeptical that he's being entirely serious about this (re: relocating Gazans). Seems more like it's meant to be a wake up call to Palestinian leadership that they can't keep instigating wars with their far stronger neighbor and then crying when they inevitably get their shit kicked in while demanding the West pay for the clean up, as well as a notice to other countries in the region that if they don't start cleaning up their own neighborhood (i.e., actually holding the Palestinians accountable for their actions), someone else will come straighten things out, perhaps in ways that they really, really don't like.

Letting people back to destroyed cities that can't easily be cleared and rebuilt may be part of a plan to get them to decide to leave. There's a reality of the situation which is going to sink in. The other day I read that the UN says it'll take 80 years to rebuild, which seems extreme. One of the problems is that the destroyed cities will be extremely difficult to clear. Nothing much be reused. Where do you even put the remains of the cities? People can't live in the remains as they're being cleared. This is a huge fucking issue which isn't getting the attention it should be at the moment.

Yeah and it angers me to no end.
