r/FedNews is a subforum on reddit for government employees to discuss their jobs with each other.
After Donald Trump became the 47th president, there was immediate action to shake federal employees out of their jobs. In particular, a Day 1 resignation offer called the "Fork in the Road" was sent by the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Federal Government's central human resources authority. Effectively, the OPM offered 8 months paid leave if you choose to resign now (a "buyout"). It was anticipated that 10% of the entire federal government's more than 2 million employees would take the offer.

What Elmo Muskrat and Orange Hitler didn't understand is that they're not just messing with feds, not just proud feds, but proud fed redditors - or fedditors, if you prefer. Trained on a diet of Harry Potter and Star Wars, the fedditor knows that the one way to win against unfair odds is to simply HOLD THE LINE.
A child's drawing and understanding of politics is the #1 post of all time in the subreddit.

Nice art. I particularly enjoy this guy reciting the oath of office while wiping back tears.
