My torrent just finished and im speedrunning the tutorial because ive played video games before.I've spent a good half hour trying to kill the essential innkeeper for talking down to me. This early section is well and truly shit. Look at the player count for shit games like enshrouded (160k players), Starfeild (330K players), Dying light 2 (270k players) and well a ton of other games that have more than 100k players but have fallen from irrelevancy like Stalker 2.

I do agree to a certain degree but you also have to consider how this game is going from being a complete niche nobody game to a larger audiance than its predecessor. We'll likely never know the demographics of whose fully buying this game. I do agree that people are so fucking use to this wokeshit that they'll ignore the black muslim shit talking everyone for the "based religious refrences" because most conservatives are so desperate for a "win" culturally, they'll take it up the ass to get a win. But at the same time my copium is that more people do get tired of this wokeshit and become more conscious of it. I'm probably the average consumer, I don't base my purchase off of politics. The only reason I'm not getting the game, as previously stated, is because Vavra's been a manchild and i'd rather not support openly antagonistic assholes. Most people don't care about it, and the "woke" elements aren't advertised and are relatively hidden.

It's not a game that is overly lame with its politics (see Concord, DAV, Dustborn) and that's enough for most people.

People don't care if there's a black guy in medieval Europe. People don't care if you can be gay. People certainly don't care about historic accuracy. At the end of the day the game, at it's surface, is cool looking. That's more than enough for most people.

Finally got the game downloaded. didn't make it past telemetry agreement before it froze up...

The game is actually running at 120 fps in the menu on ultra without dlss, though it is constantly dipping below that to 100. the previous game could barely do 90fps on very high in the menu screen. also it takes 3x as long for KCD to boot up compared to KCDII. The intro battle though is barely managing 60fps though. Now the horse ride afterwards gets 45fps at 1440 almost 60fps at 1080 or the same 60fps at 1440 with dlss.

I do like the vaulting over fences, it feels less stiff than before.
