Answer: Add on the American revolution and WWI, and this is the only material taught in American schools. They can’t reference any other history because they don’t know any other history. Chances are if you are an American child you have been taught WWII in each school year.
I'm dead serious when I say Civ 5 taught me more about history than school ever did.

United States Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth takes questions on Gaza-Israel relations: "The definition of insanity is attempting to do the same thing over and over and over again."

Karoline Leavitt was also quoting Far Cry 3 during the recent press conference. Truly gamers are rising up.

The USAID headlines have made people interested in tracing where the money goes. DataRepublican has a website that facilitates that.

American Chestnuts. The ones that were nearly driven to extinction by a blight introduced by Japanese chestnut trees.

I want to roast real chestnuts over an open fire like the founding fathers intended.
You can buy some relatively stable blight resistant cross breeds nowadays. It isn’t a pure genome but, alas, time and swarthy genetics destroy all things

Can confirm the history education was and is useless here, US Education needs a wholesale gutting and rethinking. I don't think foreigners really understand it. Every single year was a new take on MLK, WW2, the American Civil War, and occasionally an errant fun fact like Teddy Roosevelt or Edison and Tesla.
