It's hilarious that hoyo is pointing out powercreep and i'm skeptical that they'll do anything beyond releasing a new support that will make them semi-viable (like sunday to jingyuan) or a new version. Seele's kit is too basic for a new to salvage, you'd need to give her a new 5* version.

Someone like Silver Wolf is also completely outclassed now (single target debuffs that pale compared to modern harmonies) and is only rerunning because she should be powercrept by Anaxa who is leaked to have multiple weakness implant on AoE.

It's also definitely not happening to the units who actually need it. Does anyone think they'll buff Yanqing or Arlan? I don't think so. The most hoyo ever did was give old Honkai 3 units new overpowered gacha weapons that made them viable (weapons in HI3 actually give cooldown skills and are necessary for their kit to function).

edit: A "reliable" leaker said 5* fire danheng is coming so i guess that ensures dan heng got "buffed"

Hmm.

Sounds cool but at the same time I kinda hope they don't just create a Neverending habit out of retooling existing characters for 5* versions.

It's not even a bad thing so idk something about me just kinda thinks "Hm" and would rather like new faces.

Of course I suppose the ones we have do actually make sense lorewise if anything.

With Giant Herta, it made sense from a story perspective because the game states 4* Herta is just a puppet and the real one is fucking around somewhere in the galaxy.

March Hunt is just March on a different path and she's not even a 5*. Dragon Heng is his "true form" and Fugue is Tingyun returning from the dead.

I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for a potential 5* fire Heng though. I just gotta get over the tism or something.

I was thinking it probably has to do with his more "destructive" side, but that wouldn't make any sense. Isn't Bailu his healing side and Dan Heng IL his destructive?

sunday is as needed for her team as ruan mei is needed for firefly, as in you shouldn't even bother using either without their support, my current team for Aglaea atm is HuoHuo, Robin, and E1 Sunday. and god damn, her damage isnt high but she hits like 7-8 times a cycle when in her enhanced state, around 250+ speed and her memosprite has about 400 speed
 
The good news - my Gacha luck shined through, got c4 Jean and c2 Arle in one pull.

The bad news - that reserve of Gems I get for buying Welkin is gone. Least they only put out costumes that have to be bought with Gems like, twice a year, so that's not an immediate concern...

The worse news - am still a Fucking Leaf.

I got every char i wanted from StarRail last one i needed was Silver Wolf + her lightcone (after months of quitting) and now my stash is 36special tickets and 43k jades (silver spooked me in 1st 10pull and her cone on 4th) and now the trick question should i roll for new char or should i continue saving my things ? (why yes i am playing Genshin,ZZZ and now this and yes how did you know i dont have a job ?)

If you don't have Robin, get her. Boothill is an overlooked break DPS. Aglaea is the new flavor of the month and more or less requires her LC (New path so her non-specific are limited) but that is up to you.

I lost my will to pull in HSR after it took 157 pulls for Herta, so I'm just gonna let the jades accumulate. I'm gona try for Robin again, for the third time, and probably lose her, again for the third time. I'll pass on Aglaea (she's fun but no jades for her), and I'm thinking of skipping 3.1 completely (Tribbie seems fun, but you need her LC to play her more offensively) and Mydei is just extremely boring. To be honest, I'm just interested in Phainon and Castorice for the time being.

Welp I've basically completed everything except super end game content in star rail.

It's something else going to the mission screen and see "empty". So now I'm just grinding simulated universe and upgrade mats so I can actually get somewhere in Pure Fiction.

Oh and got Sushang finally! Not that I need her but I like her and I finally have all the 4* characters.
