It's not just Trump. We've seen a lot of surprise conversions in the last four years. Famously, Russell Brand found Jesus, but there were others I never expected, like Blaire White, of all people. Hell, I was listening to an interview last night where Count Dankula admitted to converting to Orthodox Christianity recently. Then, you have the Candace Owens types who went the traditional Catholicism route.

I think it has to do with recognizing that there is real, true evil in this world. Evil that cannot be bargained with or reasoned with. A broken clock is right twice a day, but when we have politicians and activists who seem to consistently choose the option that will cause the most damage 100% of the time, I think a lot of people woke up to the fact that the devil is absolutely real. How else can you explain butchers gleefully mutilating children in the name of "progress"? How can you explain neglecting your own citizens, allowing illegal alien rapists, murderers, and pedophiles into their communities, and calling it "compassion for the oppressed"? How else can you explain the blatant denial of truth and reality right in front of your face?

How else can you explain stuff like this?


And to any Kiwis who might be on the fence about all this religion stuff, or might be thinking of giving it a try, there's never been a better time to pick up the Gospel and start reading. God wishes for all of His children to come home to Him, and He will absolutely give you the grace you need. A ton of conversions begin with the simple prayer, "God, I don't know if You're real or not, but I'm open to finding out."

What has been largely lost to history is that OWS won. There was a point in time where the establishment appeared genuinely willing to negotiate. Nobody could agree on an answer, so the movement dissolved. The poison pill was "what do you want?"

I remember the debacle with the lists of demands. If you do a search now, you can't even find a coherent answer. There's the "fake list" that went around the news networks, which is as fractious as you could stereotype the left as being. There was a more focused list that only had to do with banks and banking regulations, but I can't find it now and the OWS site insisted this was also not an official list. Then there's the many people insisting that OWS has no demands, and in fact should not need demands.

Bringing one side to the table doesn't count as a success, you have to close the deal. Being unable or unwilling to articulate demands, to the point the other side shrugs and ignores you, is a failure.

(The Tea Party didn't get Obamacare blocked or repealed, but they cut it apart in the years after, and got their people into Congress to fight for the broader agenda. I wouldn't call them a full success but at least they were partially successful.)

Countries such as Spain, Ireland, Norway, and others, which have falsely accused Israel over its actions in Gaza, are legally obligated to allow Gazans to enter their territory. Their hypocrisy will be exposed if they refuse. Meanwhile, countries like Canada, which has a structured immigration program, have previously expressed willingness to take in residents from Gaza.

Depends on the area. Chicago fucking sucks business wise, i knew we had a shit ton of illegals but i didn't think it'd be enough to notice the lack of people on the streets and shit. it's looking like covid chicago in some parts.

Trump could order the people who handle the Unemployment rate to "unfuck" the Biden numbers and release them early, then make an ungodly holy stink about it. "Department of Labor reveals Unemployment actually 35% under Biden; numbers changed to appear less severe under Obama."

If he thinks they're going to pull that stunt on him -- and I absolutely think they'll try and crash the economy with no survivors if they think it'll stop Trump -- he should get out in front of it.
