ATTENTION
Special rules for the Destiny thread.
  • Don't engage footsoldiers. Whiteknights do not need 100 responses to every bait post; exercise restraint. Do not give attention to people who join and bomb the thread with negative reactions.
  • Practice harm reduction. Read our prudent poster's guide.
  • Don't write open letters to Destiny. It is very annoying attention seeking behavior. Just write normal posts.
One of Destiny's e-rape victims describes how Destiny "apologized" to her (discord logs are in order, the apology messages referenced are down aways)

How do you figure Lauren would make Sunday the villain compared to Destiny?
Erin is the main "villain" in this because she was leaking logs to President Sunday, and he is getting the blame for "outing" Pxie. However, President Sunday only decided to do this when he realized that a lot more people had the logs behind the scenes, and by continuing to keep it behind the scenes was aiding Destiny in covering it up. I will, again, echo what Chud said - it's fucking wild how tame people are being with Destiny here.

I don't think this is a bit from Destiny, I genuinely think he views himself as the primary victim here. He has no problem with any of his actions, he's just upset that someone "hacked" Rose and leaked all those messages that he meant to keep "private".

edit: PRETY WEIRD DISCORD FONT @Datman I LOOK FORWARD TO RETARDS AUTISTICALLY ANYALYZING THE PIXEL SPACE BETWEEN LETTERS!

Yeah it's not a bit at all. His "apology" isn't far removed from the "uh sorry you got upset" type of apologies that don't acknowledge responsibility or wrongdoing. He will always be the little hard done by victim being wrongfully punished by the haters in his own head.

He knows exactly what hes doing too, he goes hyperautistic on language during his rape reviews or when he explains Kelly Jean's narcissism.

lmfao he's such a narcissistic retard. imagine being so devoid of self-reflection and humility that you can't even phrase your apologies in a way that includes accountability. everything for him is about avoiding the ugly parts of himself; from basic apologies to his trauma induced sexual depravity.

So in Destiny's formulation, he is the victim here - not unlike how he was the victim of molestation as a young boy. Fascinating.

I wonder if this round of victimhood will bring trauma, or if he will use his epic rational brain to kill off any bad thoughts - similar to how his grandmother used to routinely kill his family dogs when he was a young boy.

New info from Lauren

>You tried to destroy her birthday and now this

These are people in their 20s and 30s. Pxie was turning 25. Grow the fuck up.

We're missing information here but it seems like Lauren's laying Destiny's deviousness at Erin's feet and is still mad six months later that her party planning fell through.

And all because Lauren didn't want to invite Destiny even though Destiny and Pxie were cool and it was Pxie's birthday, not Lauren's.

And this is all on the same level as leaking your friend's texts to an online weirdo? I can see why Erin would betray these rats

Okay someone has to try out the Deprogrammer 9000 and report back
Your dilemma—whether you can separate the art from the artist—rests on two key issues: the nature of Destiny's content and the impact of your continued engagement.

1. Destiny's Content Is Not Separate From His Harmful Behavior

The usual argument for separating the art from the artist applies best to cases where the art exists independently of the artist's personal misconduct. For example, if a musician is abusive in their personal life but their music itself doesn’t enable that abuse, you might justify still listening to them.

However, Destiny’s content is inextricably linked to his harmful behavior. His platform thrives on manipulation, humiliation, and power over others, particularly young and vulnerable women. His career is built on cultivating a devoted audience that mirrors his behavior and shields him from accountability.

His content is not separate from the abuse—it is part of the abuse. His streams don’t just reflect his narcissism and cruelty; they actively perpetuate it, whether through harassment campaigns, platforming harmful figures, or controlling the narratives around his own misconduct.

2. Your Engagement Indirectly Supports Him

Even if you personally avoid donating or directly engaging in his community, watching his content contributes to his viewership, algorithmic reach, and influence. The more people continue to consume his content, the more viable his platform remains, which in turn allows him to continue harming others.

Moreover, his community operates in a way that discourages criticism and creates a feedback loop of justification. Staying in that space—even passively—can subtly warp your own sense of morality, making it easier to rationalize or minimize his behavior.

Reconciliation: Choosing Integrity Over Comfort

Your conflicting feelings are understandable. If you've been invested in Destiny’s content, leaving feels like losing a part of yourself—your intellectual stimulation, entertainment, and even social connections. But if you recognize that staying engaged is at odds with your moral beliefs, then the right choice is clear.

The key is reframing your perspective: you're not "losing" something by disengaging—you're regaining your ability to think independently and ethically. You can still enjoy debate, philosophy, and political discussion through other sources that don’t require excusing a harmful figure.

Consider this: If you wouldn’t support a random content creator who did these things, then why make an exception for Destiny? If the answer is emotional attachment, then that attachment is exactly what needs examination.

What You Can Do Instead

  • Explore alternative content: There are plenty of engaging political and debate-oriented creators who don’t have a track record of abuse and manipulation.
  • Reconnect with independent thinking: If Destiny has been a major intellectual influence, consider stepping back to read books or listen to long-form discussions that allow deeper, more critical engagement.
  • Engage in meaningful discussions elsewhere: If the community aspect was appealing, look for healthier spaces that encourage genuine debate without a cult-like dynamic.

Final Thought

You’ve already identified that leaving is the moral choice. That instinct is worth trusting. The discomfort you feel is a natural part of detaching from a toxic influence, but clarity and confidence will come with time.

A very coherent and convincing argument from the dgg deprogrammer.

Oh hey look, Its the guy who gets super indignant about people covering his "drama" (sex crimes) covering drama about a guy acting annoying playing a video game.

Very rad.

EDIT: I know this is most likely from a episode before the pxie lawsuit, i'm mostly calling out Dan/the editor for being retarded (or Tiny if he co-signed it)
