>the 'orange side'
man they are getting so much mileage out of this "orange man" thing, imagine explaining this deep hitter to someone who doesn't know the context
"they keep referring to him as 'orange' why is it always 'orange'? is there some deeper meaning here? some reference to his policies or a codeword for something?"
"he had a bad spray tan for a while..."
...
"it looked kinda orange on video"

these peoples' minds are actually deformed by internet memes i don't think they perceive objective images anymore, just associations with whatever common meme references the thing they're looking at, like how chris chan can't imagine a person so he imagines the stylized cartoon of a person with all the usual cartoon tropes instead
TBF the guy who's a-logging them named his organization after a dead meme from 2013.

I'm sure they've said far worse in private. They've become so corrupt and insular they think democracy is them doing whatever they want.

Mike Benz talks a lot about how the disinformation industry has spent a lot of time changing the meaning of "democracy" to mean "continuity of institutions." They're following that logic.

Institutions = the federal bureaucracy, the media, public health experts, "the science," etc.

If you "undermine faith" in those things, you are attacking democracy, and the misinformation police will come after you. Which is how "covid misinformation" and "election conspiracy theories" were pushed as valid threats to democracy. When on the contrary, actions like trying to outlaw political parties in Germany are just fine and are not an attack on democracy, because these actions do not threaten status-quo institutions.

This is it. Their entire worldview is engineered and, as we're finding out, the perspectives they have are designed and paid for by the same institutions that employ them. It's self-perpetuating propaganda. What amazes me is that people end up believing it organically.

The melties, tanties, and LARPing are supremely entertaining. I'd laugh so hard if one of them tried to defect to China and got sent back for being a useless pain in the ass.

Ordinarily, I'm against anyone talking to journos for any reason.

I'm interested in hearing from you Nik about how America can best combat oligarchy and authoritarianism - we are all in this together - the oligarch playbook is clear - gut the overseers and make maga hate other Americans so they can be more easily controlled - what is the response Nik or anyone else? United we stand, divided we fall
Interesting that a 'public servant' is now an 'overseer.'
Misspoke, I'm sure.

For me, I think the worst (though not surprising) part was how USAID was funding private news companies. Just outright confirm what we all suspected: the media was biased because it was literally getting paid by the government to push propaganda for them.
I think the cause and effect are reversed; they aren't liberal shills because they get paid, they get paid because they're already liberal shills so the dems want to throw them an unfair advantage. Sort of like how when they tar right-wing outlets with the "fOrEiGn DiSiNfOrMaTiOn" slander it's not because they want to motivate them to be liberal, it's because they want them to shut up and wither away. Not that this is any *better* than them taling bribes to be libshits, I just think that when they're not sucking on USAID's tits they'll keep putting out biased bullshit for a few more years until they can't afford the bills anymore like Gawker did.

funniest reaction to USAID being killed: why didn't they fund the WNBA if they were funding DEI, LGBT+ and African causes?
It's well known that the only reason the WNBA exists is because the NBA wants a monopoly on ALL things basketball and got spooked when some random businessmen beat them to the punch by making a pro women's basketball league before the NBA did.

Chomsky here explains it quite well to a journo, but might as well have been one of these fedditors.

Elon is more of a Redditor than any public figure ever seen before, so the point is not lost. Everything he does is petty, atomic cringe. This whole bureaucrat sperg-out follows the timeless law of worthless autistics hating nothing more than other lower-functioning, more worthless autistics. He's also compromised but at least it begets reddit salt mines.

Since it's Time, most of them aren't biting.

It's a very new post, might be a good one to watch.
Last update: https://archive.md/G0zf6

I screencapped all of the comments because it's like 99% malding. They still haven't figured out that one of the two Koch brothers no longer exists. Some people were actually considering engaging with the journo until their fellow Redditors told them Koch bros bad. Others are telling the journo and/or mods to delete the post.
I missed someone attempting to phonebook the journo. Plus there's a bonus Sneed cameo.

holy shit i finally realized that "RTO" is "Return to Office". There's nothing wrong with being disappointed but this really should not be such a massive sticking-point for them.
Its because they know that they do nothing all day. Being forced back into the office confronts them with the fact that they are ultimately only productive for about 30 minutes a day. DA civies and feds suck ass and I'd be pissed if I showed up to work and suddenly found that a dozen of them had been forced to come back to the office with their rustled jimmies levels maxxed out. Feds and gov contractors are the fucking worst especially the former mil ones. I have never EVER known a category of people to be so entitled and lazy. Every single one of them is a "SME" or consultant that does nothing besides send emails from 9am-11am and maybe create a power point monthly. I'd honestly rather work with niggers from the hood because they try harder. Even amongst zog bots they are regarded as 99% detestable

I've had friends who were familiar with American intelligence agencies that explain it to me, and the work culture in the defense industry as a whole is a very small percentage of highly motivated psychopathic individuals (<5%) doing 90% of the work while the rest are pencil pushers. There is a high amount of administrative bloat.

>be fed
>irate over future of your job
>government says "hey, we imagine you might be irate over the future of your job, here's an equitable option to leave if you so choose"
>say no

Literal inhuman behavior
Literally insane behavior.

80:20 is the ratio that most general organizations follow but yes, in combat arms 90% of the killing is done by the same 5-10% of individuals. That number is also ignoring tooth-to-tail so its not factoring in the required support personnel which may drag the killing number down; its *exclusively* counting guys who are already in the business of killing or targeting.

Factor in support people and the number gets even more lopsided

Kind of ironic their main insult is....insulting someone over the color of their skin. And applauding each other for it. Yikes.

Literally insane behavior.
Maybe I dont understand Fed jobs benefits/salaries well enough, but at least for myself, if I got offered half of that severance in my current job I'd take it & I like my job. An 8 month lump sum is incredibly good.

If you're not a complete retard and have skills that have some type of value, I'm sure you could find yourself a job in a few months. If you're lucky to work in an industry filled with nepotism, you can do it in literal weeks over a coffee.

One of the pieces of hilarity of this is from subreddit's that have some type of adjacency to the situation. r/CyberSecurity (Possibly one of the worst subreddits in terms of quality) has resorted to moving everything into a megathread. To say they're not happy is an understatement.

While I refuse to be Nulls personal army, I will klink glasses at the crying.

could you explain how to do this?
it depends on which browser you're using, but in Brave for example:
  1. Browse to the page you want to save
  2. while on that page, click on the "hamburger" menu (navigation icon) in the upper right corner
  3. scroll down the menu, click on "Save and share"
  4. click on "Save page as"
  5. select "Webpage, single file" (which saves the page as *.mhtml format)
  6. save the page to your preferred folder location
that's all there is to it, you can then open the saved pages later in any browser at your leisure

That just sounds like an organized religion/church to me. Before secularism that is.
Well, it's not exactly a new idea. They're preaching woke, but their ultimate goal is still power.
