I'm not as hard line as most folks because I do think there are some legit trans folks, but I think that number is maybe 5% of all trans people and those usually are the ones who never bring it up, never make a big deal, and just live their lives. Not really in the mood to argue about it.

That being said, a doctor was trying to sell a "new, high success rate phalloplasty that only takes 2 operations."

Showing a large selection of failed phalloplasties was enough to scare the shit out of my entire friend group.

All of these surgeries are Bad, but it isn’t beyond my comprehension that double mastectomy, rotdog install, and stinkditch gouging are designed to mimic the physical characteristics of the opposite sex.

What is metoidioplasty SUPPOSED to do? From what I can gather it isn’t the first step towards a rotdog, but an entirely distinct procedure with distinct surgical goals, but WHAT ARE THOSE GOALS?

Not to argue with you either (you can respond if you want), but sure, the set of symptoms known as "gender dysphoria" probably does actually exist. Body dysmorphia also exists, while we're at it.

However, there's no good evidence that hormones and surgeries are effective treatments for gender dysphoria.

My understanding is that unlike the rotdog, a meta is actually partly functional in the case of a successful surgery because it can (theoretically) get erect and have erotic sensation. Also, in the most successful of cases it almost resembles a micropenis.

If you don't have the urethra redirected through the metroid it's also probably much lower risk than any other type of bottom surgery (except maybe orchiectomy).

Though I have no statistics to back me up, I've noticed pooners tend to prefer rotdogs when testosterone abuse did not bless them with Chyna-like appendages. super satisfied with my results.. only complaint towards Dr. Delyzer is that she did not give me nearly enough pain mediation and I was in absolute agony. She specifically said not to call her for more so I didn't and I was suffering so much during recovery, all I could do the first few days was sob all day and all night as I could not sleep for days due to the pain... so her surgery after care was HORRIBLE. I'd go as far as to say it was quite traumatic. It's over now but I was suffering like CRAZY.

I’m feeling way better now I do have a seroma on my right side tho it’s just small and my doctor says it will go away with tight compression sadly tho I haven’t been able to reach my surgeon im not sure why she won’t respond tho

Yesterday was the first time I had seen my chest, as Dr. Kassis and his team had me in a binder from before I woke up until yesterday. Today was the first day I was allowed to shower, which this picture is immediately after. I am so incredibly happy with my results!
