I bought this yesterday after having lost track of it. I saw the first two promotional vids they released, and it looked pretty good. I paid absolutely no attention to anything after that because I have a life and shit. I sit down yesterday with some time, notice it's on sale and say, "shit, that's right, I was going to buy this!" Bought it, downloaded it, but ran out of time and had to hit the sack. I decided to check the Farms before bed and this thread had been featured. I immediately refunded the game. Had I not seen this feature, I never would have known.

Disregarding whether you like the game or not, it's a success for the developers.

It's fucked that it took me so long for this thread to redpill me with insurmountable proof this game turned faux-historical the second when it benefitted the pushing of a narrative that is (was) hidden rather well.

Wouldn't surprise me to see the game push 300K concurrent players by sunday if SteamDB is anything to go by.

Oh well, this was the last time I jumped in the breach for a game because they will fuck over it's OG playerbase for ESG money and pro-Jew propaganda.

So I’ve read more about this and I think we’re long past boycotts now. What’s it gonna take now boys? Are we just going to keep shouting platitudes at game devs hoping they’ll listen? Or are we gonna have to start committing federal crimes to actually stop things in their tracks? I don’t know, you tell me. Because I’m at a loss of options right now. And this is not me endorsing any violence.

If you do have to play it, pirate it. No exceptions.
3) Enjoy older games(Tens of thousands of them, so there is no excuse that "there aren't enough" or "there aren't any for me".)

If your game HAS to include child sodomy, at least do it in a way that doesn't glorify or romanticise it. Portray it as something really dark and disturbing (which it is)

The first game was pretty gay too, that bathing scene with the lord was very very very gay.

Is KCD 2 still as empty as 1 was? The forests were so beautiful but felt so empty without wildlife. At least could have added wolves to make it better.

The funny thing about the game is that back in KC1 there were a few 'modern' items hidden amongst the scenery giving the impression that the entire game was just an elaborate medieval larping experience. So right from the get go the entire franchise was filled with faggotry.

How did the actual Czechs react to this? Because as far as I know, the release of a sequel was seen as a HUGE deal within the country, enough to warrant one national bank to release fucking credit cards featuring artwork of the game.

And as far as I understand, the Czech republic is rather conservative, especially in regards to topics like race or gender... but then again... it also is pornstar capital of Europe and one of it's most adamant anti-immigration politicians (Tomio Okamura) is half-japanese, with an openly gay brother, so he could have his own lolcow thread if enough czechs used this website.

I had the same question. Pre-release speculation said you could, but now the game's out, the answer is apparently no on both counts. He's an essential character and you need him to help you stop the evil Christians from being mean to Jews. Also he fucks your girlfriend...?


Sucks, cuz I genuinely appreciate player choice, and I'd have no issue with the gay sex "choice" and the BIPoC pandering "choice" if I also had the "choice" to opt out in an appropriately medieval manner.
