Based on a quick google (admittedly without watching the video) I don't buy it. She was married to her first husband in the 70s and gay marriage, as it would have been then, wasn't legal in France. They must have had a legal marriage as she divorced her first husband in 2007 and gay marriage still wasn't legal in Frogland even then. Her daughter born in the 70s or 80s also looks exactly like her so no adoption going on there.

This shit really pisses me off because there are many faggots like this in Academia who want to twist science and use clothing and jewelry to determine gender vs actual DNA and Bones even though cultures are different throughout history and the styles of clothing and who wore jewelry in genders vary.

& with Archaeology being based completely in Academia it means these faggots have a chance of this shit going mainstream in the field.

This is a huge controversial issue with Cis people. Though, most of them didn't think about trans people at all until the last decade. In all honesty, this is just a culture war issue to distract everyone from the rights conservatives are quietly taking away from everyone, but that's another discussion for a different time.

I've been Deaf for seven years now. I lost it while I was in the Army and life has been harder ever since. I realized I was trans in 2021. So, luckily I didn't have to endure these hardships while growing up like many kids do.

I've been doing taekwondo since 2018 in preparation of Brazil, which I did pretty good considering I had to compete with men who stood a foot taller than me! I never planned on competing with the women, but at least they would be the same height as me. Taekwondo is huge for tall people. If you're short, your head is an easy target and you don't have much chance to retaliate.

For me, being trans and Deaf is no different than just being deaf. My in laws and friends distanced themselves when it became too much of a burden to communicate with me. Now I only have to add the closed minded to the list. I'm lucky to say that with this issue I only compete a few times a year with RMOC and every couple years internationally. So, I don't get much exposure to this issue. I'm also glad that no one cares about Deaf sports. If me being trans brings attention to Deaf athletes then I did good bringing coverage to this world.

Guess what prompted him to transition? Gooning to anime too much. Of course.

Yeah I'm only halfway through episode 2, I gotta admit she's got a fuck ton of stuff she's presenting but it would take a lot of source checking to follow up, and I'm not that interested in the French President to spend the time to do.

Only in the US, really, because that's where feelings and "lived experience" has firmly taken hold over actual evidence and empiricism. Because postgraduate study in the social sciences is essentially a pay to win game, where anyone who can pay for themselves (so think 40k+ usd a year lol) can go to Harvard and act like they're doing something meaningful by affirming whatever socially liberal agenda they have a burning desire to make real.* This means there's a brain drain of actually talented people in these fields to places like the UK and Europe, where identity politics aren't nearly as plagued in research
* Academia runs on burning passion, which is a good thing sometimes but horrifying with troons that have no other purpose to work than to make society buy into their delusions
