If this person paid attention to Harry Potter (which let's be real, I'm a britfag I have to legally be obliged to care given I grew up when the books were being released) there's not only a few examples of people coming in with a "My culture is better than yours" (Visa vi, Book 4 is full of it with the students from other schools spending all day shitting on Hogwarts while the Hogwarts students do the same back), this is an exchange student from another country and most exchange students (or even foreigners in general from anywhere going to another country) will almost always espouse how "Our culture is the best one" when they enter another country when they see something they're not familiar with or used to, we only have to watch 90-day-fiancé and other TLC shows of Americans going abroad to know Americans do it all the damn time. Back on point though, she's from a country where wandless magic is the norm (We are aware within the lore that it's mostly the western countries who use wands as a focus, other countries do not) and that's because wandless magic is more powerful, but it's also more volatile as a result of not having a focus, this would mean a human who can master wandless magic would be more powerful than one who is a master of wand magic ((Which makes it more funny that Voldermort is seen as such a fucking threat to the entire wizarding world when there's got to be some indian dude who can palm-shoot death curses without a word)). So her words do stand up under some scrutiny that's she's not entirely wrong. It's like you being used to driving a sports car then being given an SUV or sedan, sure the gas mileage would be infinitely better and you're safer in a crash, but the sports car is way faster and cool looking.

This is just a dumb idea from a writing standpoint. A pretentious character who breaks all the settings' rules with no ability to hit them in the mouth is a dumb idea. I don't care about the semantics of Harry Potter lore, least of all when it seems to be written with less tact with regards to its in-universe power levels than Dragonball.

How is she breaking all the settings rules? It's a fact cemented into the lore for awhile and spoken about a lot if you pay attention, her simply stating in her opinion she see's wandless magic as better and doesn't get the need for wands because she's not used to that might be a bit pretentious but I get it, I imagine if I went from a place where everyone throws powerful magic from their hands to one where they throw magic from wands which is weaker I'd go "Oh wow this is shit, what the fuck?", also she's like a teenager, hardly going to be considering how "Safety" and "Lack of volatility" plays into the discussion.

Does reputation even mean anything for video game studios? If CD project red is able to make money off of Cyberpunk 2077, despite that having an atrocious launch, I highly doubt this game is gonna get in any way close to shutting down it's studio. It's the same song and dance we've been doing for the past 2 decades and I'm surprised how people aren't tired of it. Although... it's still entertaining to watch at the very least.

Look at the competition for Kingdom cum, it's Dota 2, PUBG and CSGO2. It's February, there's just nothing else to play, unless you are a normie or can overlook political bias the same way all gamers have come to ignore microtransactions... which is most gamers actually, so it is destined to be a financial success, no matter the controversy.

I mean the discussion boards have shut down all discussions about this (which unironically recently a lot of steam discussion boards shut down negative talk) and most steam people are braindead fags who just buy game and ignore what's going on in the wider world. I figured the 10~ gaming youtubers who have been following KC2 would be discussing this but no comment whats so ever.

The only time I remember wandless magic existing in Harry Potter was when Dumbledore used it exactly one time in an emergency, which is acceptable since he otherwise relied on a wand to use spells and could only perform weak spells with his bare hands.

When you make it so random niggers can cast any spell they want without a wand (something the first book makes a big deal of; wands are made of specialized materials and are treasured by the owner) you're just eroding the mystique of the setting. Why stop there? Why not have American wizards, who are also niggers, casting spells with their Hi-point?

A lot of them don't want to believe the 'based' dev sold out and are ignoring it. I have said it before in this thread but this is the first 'neo-woke' game. The same content but slightly hidden and sold as ok because they don't remove the boobs.

If the game wanted to be historically accurate, it would have the Jews living in segregated slums and money lending until being persecuted/killed under the guise of blood libel. Catholics hated the hussites and they were a Catholic denomination that basically said "indulgence is unchristian and the clergy is unethical". For that to happen, there has to be either a huge scandal (possibly involving Vavra) or the third game has to be as woke and shitty as Veilguard. Right now Vavra can be a disgusting sperg without consequences but this fag is so arrogant and smug that his downfall will come eventually.
