I actually do wanna know more about how bad the CFPB is, or how it's not as effective as some people have claimed.

I contacted them for issues twice. They were 1-1. It was nice to be able to reach out to the actual federal government for help when facing a large business and get real help and in a reasonable time frame. I think I we should have kept it and given Warren some appreciation on this one.

Companies can be brick walls on resolving issues and they should have some fear that the average joe can get them to act without having to pay for an attorney or to go through the torture of being held on hold for hours on the phone ten times just to talk to some moron who just repeats the same company line.

Yeah I getcha on that point, and I do see multiple stories where the program actually worked out for people. But I think with the fact that they intentionally prohibited people who were politically aligned against the administration at the time, it might've been for the best. As it can be easily abused even further if it was left to its own devices. So I think there should at least be a switch up on it. But time will tell.
