Throughout our history, the Kennedy Center has enjoyed strong support from members of congress and their staffs—Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Since our doors opened in1971, we have had a collaborative relationship with every presidential administration. Since that time, the Kennedy Center has had a bi-partisan board of trustees that has supported the arts in a non-partisan fashion.

While we are a living memorial to President Kennedy, we are also a unique public-private partnership. The Center is supported by federal annual appropriations for the upkeep and maintenance of the building as a federal memorial, or approximately 16% of the total operating budget. Support for the Center’s artistic programming comes from ticket sales, donations, rental income, and other revenue sources.

The Kennedy Center is aware of the post made recently by POTUS on social media. We have received no official communications from the White House regarding changes to our board of trustees. We are aware that some members of our board have received termination notices from the administration.

Per the Center’s governance established by Congress in 1958, the chair of the board of trustees is appointed by the Center’s board members. There is nothing in the Center’s statute that would prevent a new administration from replacing board members; however, this would be the first time such action has been taken with the Kennedy Center’s board.

Legally I cannot see anyone under 18 without the parents permission. I'm not sure if school psychologists have some different rules, but if a therapist wants their license they cannot work with minors without the parents consent and hopefully the minors assent to therapy.

Also, if parents are divorced and contesting therapy I need the consent of both parents to see a minor if only one parent will consent it requires a court order.

The Democrats have made a fatal mistake: never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line they believed that the Obama era of politics was the End of History. They assumed that they were on a necessary, deterministic march forward towards "progress" and that their political capstone would last forever. The state bar controls who is barred. You think the state bar of New York is going to disbar a left wing judge? Get real. An ethics complaint could be filed, but that will be handled by the chief judge of the Second Circuit. The Second Circuit covers New York, Vermont, and Connecticut—it's generally left wing. You can impeach a judge but that's very rare and generally only for real crimes.

Really the only thing that can be done is significantly embarrassing the judge. I wish superior judges would do this type of thing more, but they're mostly cucks. If you don't want this to happen, you need the Supreme Court to write the judicial equivalent of "This specific judge we are naming is a dumbass and acted extremely improperly, to the point that we question his competence to be a neutral arbiter."
