If there is one rule I try to follow when reading things on the internet it's "always doubt what people say". But in this instance I guess I could kind of believe this. Like 50%.

I've known some people who would excessively groom themselves because they were genuinely just tweaking. It does happen.

But on the other hand I don't think posting that picture of the hair was really a smart or necessary move. It proves nothing lol. It could very well just be hair from a regular haircut. Nobody would know.

I see you're still sometimes reading this thread Refix, and to you I say: It's okay, we know Birdie is a shithead. You really don't have to prove anything anymore, you can move on. Take care of other things, I don't think anyone is going to let Birdie return at this point. This whole thing is just going to piss you off further.

I know it doesn't take much skill to copy an art style but if they are capable of this, it makes me wonder why their other anime inspired art looks like shit.

(sorry for any errors, first time posting) i'd argue that she ripped off sleepykinq/twistedoctor/whatever he goes by now just as much if not more. maybe not as much now, but you can see his influence beginning around 2018 and i'd argue it still sticks sometimes.

birdie says in her comeback video that she purposefully tried to replicate kittydog’s style
i think what followed was a natural progression of her art, which yes, would’ve been influenced by the people around her in the animation meme community, but i don’t think she ever really “ripped off” any of them
not to say her art isn’t absolutely hideous, but the notion of “stealing” or “ripping off” an art style is common when you’re surrounded by artists you love and wanna be like; her EARLY art progression is normal and shouldn’t be taken as another one of her flaws (her later art progression though was terrible)

Of course, emulation is a really important part of stylistic growth. You don't reinvent the wheel and you should take elements that you like from other things to better your own work. Also, I don't want to harp on about 'artstyle/oc theft' because it is the stupidest shit ever. Birdie was once an (admittedly pretty talented) child and they couldn't have gotten there without learning from whoever they were idolising at the time.
HOWEVER, I think with that being said, I think it's a relevant thing to discuss as Birdie's art style emulation is typically weaponized. She designs characters that are so close to the people they are 'vague'posting about (do you think 'subtlety' is a word in her dictionary?) or just copies their artstyle to tell her own story about the respective people. Especially Hime, with all the iterations Birdie's made of Hime's OCS and style. It extends to Sleepykinq as well with several OCS (the most prominent being Oreo, I think). She then uses these characters to vent and act like she's the protagonist of a soap opera - or, alternatively, draw porn with herself and the thinly disguised version of someone else. It's a pattern of behaviour that began as a child (which is why i bring it up) and is still relevant to this day.
I find it very, very interesting that she has given up with it at large these past few years and just animates the people as they are (like Jay, who doesn't even get the grace of being hidden behind an OC)

i thought it was a bow honestly, i dont know what the bow would represent but the orange was himes fav color, which is why orange is a common color in some of sophias vents. while for active social medias of himes, i think theyre private now from what i heard.
