To be fair, being a misogynist and gay is not mutually exclusive - they seem to go hand in hand, if anything.
In fact, it brought up something that I've been thinking about. When it comes to misogyny, I rank the following demographics from least to most hateful in the following order:

Non-political hetero men < Conservative hetero men | Non-political and conservative women << Hetero male feminists < Feminist women < "Conservative" gay men << Lesbians < Trannies | Liberal gay men | Incels

Hetero men want to have sex with women, so there's bound to be at least some degree of mysticization going on, with conservative men being a bit more wary of women than non-political hetero men. They believe that women are individuals, and generally, non-political men operate on the assumption that the individual is inherently helpful towards others while conservatives tend to think that people have baser impulses, therefore, it's safer to assume that the individual is inherently selfish.
Women see behind the veneer of said mysticization and generally have some reservations about other women due to competition, but generally they still believe that women are individuals first and can be good people too.

Male feminists worship the pussy like no other - unless wrong opinions are attached to it. While previous demographics are more lenient when it comes to disagreements (provided that the other party is a reasonable person), male feminists have an infantilizing view of the "unenlightened, dumb conservative woman". Unlike feminist women though, they're more like that frat bro that got rejected by a lesbian ("all she needs is a good my dick") while feminist women regard them as anathema.

"Conservative" gay men are straightforward about their idea that women belong in the kitchen and nowhere else. Lesbians abuse women on a record high basis, they lack the mysticization element that hetero males have and they might have penis envy. I've yet to consume enough cocaine to see inside Freud's theory on that, but let's just roll with it - it's fitting and funny.

Trannies and incels are pretty much two sides of the same coin - they mysticize women to such a high degree that the reality can never match it, making them bitter and resentful either towards themselves (as is the case with trannies) for being born a lower lifeform (men) or towards women for failing to live up to their view of women that borders on the idea of perfection. This bitterness can transform, which is why there's an incel-to-trans pipeline.

Liberal gay men are insidious towards women - they might act like their "gay besties" when they're together, but not even the Supreme Gentleman could come up with the vitriolic shit they spew about women behind closed doors. They might hate women because they see absolutely no value in them and despise their ideas about gayness - as if being gay made them less threatening, less masculine, less of a man. Contrary to the stereotypical fags, most gay men are into the stereotypical macho man's man archetype, so seeing women treat you as if you're a puppy can do a great deal of damage to your ego.

If you wanna watch it but don't want to watch it, Harmful Opinions watched it. The basic gist of the argument is that instead of refuting opposing studies presented on puberty blockers, argue instead that you believe a child should be able to do whatever they want to get the care they best need.
