Starfield sold better and was still more universally liked than this game. The biggest sin that game committed was being boring and broken, like every Bethesda game. KCD2 took a franchise that was somewhat respected and turned it into a steaming garbage pile overnight.

The idea of "just wanting to play a video game" is hard to do with modern games shoving shit down your throat.
