I second this. We (the West) should be helping the Boers take what is rightfully theirs. Use all the money we're giving to Ukraine and Israel and funnel it to the Boers. Maybe now with Trump leading the way the West will end our shameful retreat and take a stand.
It is literally rightfully theirs. They were the fist people to settle in this mostly unfavorable, and at the time uninhabited, land. And they developed it.
The niggers immigrated from up north once south africa became fertile and rich enough ti sustain a population.

The Boers were the original owners/keepers/custodians of the land. Because there was no one fucing there before them.

I am fine with this. I remember travelling in Europe about 15 years ago and countries like the Netherlands just rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents and didn't use the penny euro coin. It's a sad realization of where we are but no need for them, just zillow the pennies or something, sheeeeeeeeit.
Apologize to Bimmy

sadly that will never be allowed.

I will get alittle abstract with you here about money as a concept.

Money is basically an abstraction of "value"

Do you want money to be a "store of value" or a "means of exchange"?

These goals are fundamentally at odds with eachother. Inflation makes storing value harder and encourages investment. But too much inflation fucking ruins everything. Prices will never be allowed to go backwards even if we agree that the covid era money printer go burr was a mistake.

Because the second you get deflation it means existing debt is more exspensive and if you have money you will hold it because you will get a better value the longer you hold.

No one will allow this.

on the other hand as a means of exchange you know money is just a abstraction for stuff and the amount of stuff and its demand are always in flux worse certain things like fuel and food are very very inelastic in demand so a rising price doent really change demand.

fuck I have a few different jobs right, and I ve given honest thought to going to down to the coin shop and buying gold/sliver as a way to force more discipline on myself basically I would be selling the pm back to the shop in less that 12 months in order to service my property tax bill.
Or we could just have neither, like the average inflation rate of -1% between 1776 and 1913.

The one thing I can see being a problem with the penny going away is state and county sales tax. Some are 5% but others are 1%, 2%, etc. Sometimes you have both that add up to 4% or 7% or whatever.

There's no way they'll agree to round down and take less money, so instead they'll put all sales taxes at 5% or 10%. You will see 10%, maybe even 15% sales taxes in some places.

I'd rather they find a way to make the pennies cheaper, out of aluminum as has been suggested or something similar.

Just get rid of them and make 10 cent the smallest coin. And just round to the nearest 10c at checkout at the supermarket. Like most other countries do.

Sure, "but what if someone goes to Safeway and carefully picks items so that the total will end up at xx.25 and it will then be rounded down to xx.20. They make 5 cent on this transaction". Yeah, fucking let them.
Sure, and if you go to Safeway 200 times and do this you will save 10$. Who cares. For normal people the rounding ends up at a net-zero as the rounding all cancels out.

How many people are even paying in cash anymore? The only times that I do any more are at concerts, ball games, or other events where everything is already priced to round to a nearest dollar (or conveniently close to $10 so that you'll drop the extra $1 in a tip jar) so no one has to fuck around with change and the lines keep moving. Any other time I'm using a card. Even people without credit or debit cards have mobile payment apps that many businesses accept.

The taxes aren't getting rounded down. They are what they are and the business eats any cost of rounding down.

Making the penny cheaper is a loser move. Quit printing money like a third world African shithole country and we can make the penny more valuable.

That didn't stop you from giving thumbs-up to my posts, you bald reincarnating fuck.

My point still stands. Trump fucked the farmers and the Evangelicals in the ass. The two groups you NEVER fuck with if you want to run Republican. Between that and all the people malding over the fact that they voted for Trump only for him to fuck them over, his coalition of support will disintegrate like a base hit by a tiberium vapor bomb.
Have you talked to any Trump Republicans or evangelicals? Have you talked to the farmers who aren't hick libs?
Again this comes off as the reddit cope of "hey guys my republicans all regret voting for orange cheeto Hitler let's save democracy."
Again the problem is your echo chamber yeah you think your owning A&N but the truth is you look delusional to those not in your worldview here.
Simple: the Republican Party is the Party of those ignored by the big-city liberal elites. Which usually means farmer folks. It also is the party of the religious right, mostly Evangelicals who don't approve of the Left's free-love-and-sex agenda for gays and trannies.
Again evangelicals really just want to be left alone.
70% approval? Most polls have him at less than 45%. The most generous poll has him at 51% approval.
average approval rate is hovering around 53% higher than any time during his first term.
Dude, just look up "Trump voters regret" and you'll get no shortage of videos of Trump fans malding over the fact that he fucked them over.
Dude most Trump supporters don't regret their vote. Like the person who did get trooted out probably was a RINO and suspiciously has a in this house we believe sign.
Like you don't live in reality my dude.

TL;DR: Whistleblower comes forward and names names and files a criminal complaint against the governor of Pennsylvania and implicates the former head of the FBI as well as Joe Biden himself, in the attempted assassination of Trump at Butler.
Not the first time Shapiro got involved in a murder coverup. There was this lady named Ellen Greenberg who got stabbed 20 times, half of which were in the back/neck, and bruised all over her body. The initial investigation ruled it a suicide, and when Shapiro became PA's Attorney General in 2016, his office investigated the case and reaffirmed the suicide ruling. He gets really antsy and dismissive whenever reporters ask him about it.
Thankfully, the case was opened yet again recently and was finally deemed a homicide just a few days ago.

Uh, how about if we just knock the second place after the decimal off completely

Nobody regrets it.
Those videos are clickbait for pRedditers.

Redditor is claiming that Kendrick Lamar performing 'Not Like Us' was actually a secret own on Blumpf that everyone is too stupid to understand. What do you guys think?

"Media literacy" when did every midwit Internet lefty start using that phrase? They clearly heard one of their grifters use it and now throw it in as much as possible.

@TonySopranoFan57 man, I thought I was racist, but you are so mad at blacks existing on this continent you can't even type straight. You make some good historical points that were not extremely fun to read, because of the whole seething too hard to use punctuation thing. I think I have to just bow to your superior bigotry, and I'll admit, you might want to just gas me now because when it comes time to execute the last mutt baby and complete literal TND, I will hesitate to pull that trigger and betray myself as a spineless race traitor, unworthy of your glorious future.

Whatever, because it's fun to history sperg, there is something fun I've noticed to your point about Weimar communists, kind of a variant on the early life check. Whenever you hear of a famous jewish scientist, and people say "Hitler was retarded to alienate this person for their background, he handed his foes the atom bomb!", open up their wiki page, and instead of early life, look for a section on something like political views; just go ahead and see if they weren't a communist. Now, this is sort of the background retardation of the time, a lot of stories of brutality in those revolutions were still being suppressed or even had yet to happen, and it was just sort of common for unrelated academics to espouse communism without really doing anything about it. Still, a noggin jogger. Actually, you know who is a huge exception is von Neumann; other than the retardation, you remind me a bit of him.

Another outfalling from le gaymergates. Media literacy is an academic term of art, used in the analysis of literature, media, and the arts in general. Its original meaning was to have the tools and ability to analyse and examine a piece of media, in order to understand its underlying structure and how it might fit into a wider social and cultural context, through comparison with other similarly-structured media.

The people throwing the term around now use it to mean "I am smarter than you". They aren't media literate.

Oh yeah, Ellen Greenberg. The good old logical scenario of "woman was making fruit salad in her own kitchen and suddenly became suicidal and decided to stab herself multiple times in the back of the neck with the kitchen knife she was using, penetrating her own spinal cord and piercing her own brain at one point, but somehow continuing to stab herself"

You know, just the classic form of suicide that happens every day!

Shapiro was connected to the family of Ellen's partner (the man who had been sending her angry texts right before she suddenly decided to stab herself to death)

Nothing about Josh Shapiro could surprise me TBH.

I just watched a bunch of what came up when I searched that on Youtube, and it was hilariously-fake leftist gaslighting, and dipshits(who were probably playacting) screeching about how inflation didn't immediately disappear, and prices didn't plunge at the grocery store in the first two weeks of Trump's presidency.

Even if those clowns are real, they're retarded.

Oh, and there were also some dipshit farmers pissing and moaning about how they were going to lose their farms because Trump was going to take away the farmer welfare they get for rolling out of bed at the crack of noon and making sure the soybeans aren't growing, and the subsidy checks are in the mailbox.

Everybody who's malding over Trump fucking them over deserves every inch of the fucking they're getting, and then some, and that includes the Trump voters that are squealing because they're getting pulled off Uncle Sugar's teat.

Their coping and seething is music to my ears.

So was the Great Depression. Sure black Tuesday or whatever was the late 20’s, but in America we think of the Great Depression as overlapping the decade of the 30’s
How can something that happened after 1929 be the cause of something that occured in 1929?

If this pans out it may be the biggest political scandal of many of our lifetimes, holy shit.
If this is leaked by a random Facebook page called "PA Arrest Warrants" I'll help Techpope eat his hat.

But, remind me: Isn't that Harris's VP pick that she didn't go with at the last minute? And everyone assumed it was cause of the Jewish thing?

If he was supposed to be rewarded for helping kill Trump and when that didn't happen he didn't get his gold star sticker, well...
