Their attempt to increase their defense funding off the US GDP by attacking the USS Liberty and trying to blame it on the Egyptians has always been an obstacle to the observant seeing it that way. If Denmark tried that and blamed Sweden for it we'd have had American Greenland in 1967 instead of Danish Scandia on the Swedish mainland.
You dumb nigger, Iraq did that with the USS Stark and tried to blame Iran for it. Iraq ended up fine and the officers on the USS Stark were punished

Israel did not try to blame Egypt for it and immediately admitted guilt. Learn your history somewhere that isn't Twitter

Has this all been his elaborate 10 year secret plan to gas the kikes and save humanity?
I'm here for it

You'd think it was one of us trolling with a hilariously Jewish name.

On the one hand, this journalist sounds like a sensitive gay. On the other hand, it's amusing to see politicians have stunned looks every time someone is like, "Uh, yeah, why do you keep having huge amounts of assets way past your salary range? Why is it OK for the feds to waste countless dollars to Turkish transvesites instead of, you know, people in our nation affected by floods and fires?"

Trump on the ceasefire: "As far as I'm concerned, if all of the hostages aren't returned by Saturday at 12 o'clock ... I would say cancel it, and all bets are off, and let hell break out."

Reporter: "When you say all hell is going to break loose, are you speaking about retaliation...?" Trump: "You'll find out, and they'll find out too. Hamas will find out what I mean."

Trump has let us know when the doors to the Trump Gaza Hotel and Casino Resort are opening. Saturday at 12. Be there, or... well don't be there because you're gonna get blown up by the IOF if you're there

The reality on the ground is quite different in the east and the west. As you can see the east is very wet and much of the west is very dry.
Letting anyone use as much water as they want makes sense when there's more than enough for everyone. It doesn't work then there's serious contention for water (not that the current system is a reasonable way of solving that problem).

I understand the practicality of it when it first arose back in the Old West. But it makes no intuitive sense to me. Law isn't some abstract proposition, it's the result of common intuitions and experiences reinforced over time. If you buy land next to water, it makes total sense that you can use the water. It makes no intuitive sense, from a property rights perspective, that just because you made the first beneficial use of water that you get it forever. If you want to take that property right—access to usable water—and treat it as an asset (like mineral rights, easements, covenants, etc.), that's fine. But the system just doesn't accord with my gut instincts about how property works.
