George H.W. Bush began the downward middle east spiral that was ramping up all the way to Obama.
Obama and Bush were both awful for different reasons. Bush got us into pointless forever wars and also allowed the federal government to spy on citizens, and then Obama created the whole race divide shit and is a big reason why we have wokeness today.

Every president after Bush maintained the nothingburger desert war. As for the woke divide... that was already starting in the 90s if you examine more closely. It was just more contained. It's been here for a long time.

Bush allowing surveillance that allowed them to spy on citizens more, that was already a thing even during the cold war era and we need to bring up presidential policies after JFK's death to really dissect where it became more sinister.

Honestly, him losing the 2020 election was probably the best outcome in hindsight. It really did craft the perfect no-nonsense mindset he's got going now.
The Tribulation of Heaven, that tempered the soul of an arrogant mortal. Who are you, Donald Trump, to pretend to be worthy of the Throne which Heaven has ordained? Suffer. Suffer like you have never suffered before in your life. Let us test the meter of your substance. The weight of your soul. Are you willing to wager your property, life, and sacred honor?

Trump may come across as Goofy, but he earned his throne in a way that no President since the founding has.

Fort Bragg is back
This is the first Democrat W in a while. Letting them have control over what is acceptable thought by renaming it after a completely different Bragg is complete loser mentality.
(Yes, I'm aware that the Biden admin made it illegal to name things after Confederate Generals. But choosing to skirt around the law rather than either ignore or repeal it is gay and retarded. It also makes Trump taking the Jackson option in regards to the Judges significantly less plausible.)

Democrats trying to erase the only based pieces of their history because the south doesn't vote for them anymore is an L on its own.

I'm gonna take a more optimistic approach here. There is a manifest issue with naming USA Military bases after CSA Generals. Compelling argument to be made its as insulting to the CSA as it is the USA. The Solomons solution is good. Now rename Fort Gregg-Adams back to Fort Lee...after Light Horse Harry Lee who fought in the Revolutionary War.

More broadly though, I am tired of the incessant division. Coming from the hard left who are all about having separate national anthems for black people at the Super Bowl, to the Hard Right who think the Confederacy coming back would be heckin based. Lets talk about the Union Cause, which was to bring everyone under the Star Spangled Banner as Free Men.

There has been way too much propagandizing against the Union for the last half century. On both sides. The Left wing insulted the Union cause as a colonial project that would never deliver on its promises and was secretly white supremacist anyway, while the right wing posited that the Union cause was all about suppressing the rights of the States and making everyone slaves of Washington DC and the Bankers.

Somewhere between 1865 and 2025 we all forgot just why hundreds of thousands of Union men were willing to die for the Stripes and Stars.

I just want to point out that Kamala was such a cartoonishly inept and unlikeable antagonist that if this were a work of fiction you'd be rooting for Trump because of how bad she is.
I don't think they had any chance either way, after Trump was shot he was unstoppable imo. But it was a bit scary to see someone that unbelievably inept and bizarre get so far.

TBF her DNC speech was decent. Everything else was pure lolcow from hell.

Also the debate with Trump she did C grade level, better than I expected. Trump was weak on it like he does sometimes. He either aces those debates or just does mediocre and it wasn't his best for sure so she came out 'ok'.

They should give all the bases back the same name, just named after a different person with that name. Both the north and the south struggled with reconciliation after the war and this was part of it as was the confederate monuments. A symbol of a healing nation after a brutal war. If these shit heads want to rip those ancient wounds open then we should rub their faces in the shit that follows.

Thomas Kinkade is an American treasure and I will take his art over any of the post-modern garbage that is paraded about as art in current year.

People call his art kitsch and say his use of values (how light or dark the colors are) wasn't as good as Rockwell's, but it's very warm and genuine in a way that you don't really see anymore. If you look closely at some works, you'd notice that there's less detail in, say, the ground than the sky, or the hands than the eyes, because your brain is designed to focus on some things more than others, usually what has the most information. Typically this is actually a good thing, because if you're not careful the details would fight each other. You can tell a lot about an artist by what he focuses on, for better or worse. Sometimes it's subconscious, but most artists make a point to include the most information where they'd want you to look, usually the face or body. Kinkade didn't do this. He gave each element enough detail to make the whole piece feel real. There's a clear Romantic influence and I'd rather see more of it than fucking Alegria.

Anyway, ICE is apparently scaring the illegals into hiding. Businesses are starting to hire citizens again because certain places have cleared out.
