overall when you really look into the house, reps jobs (outside of fundraising for re-election) are fucking easy, thats why they are so easy to contact for interviews and show up to various bullshit events and will show up to talk to any class if asked, there isn't much to the whole "vote on bills and work in a committee" part of it. especially when you're new and so far down the totem pole, hell they don't even have to all be in their wing of the capital at the same time, they just vote electronically or even get their interns to do it for them.
