If you think banking on tecknially was a smart move, I'd say yours is the more retarded take. The point is he was being deceptive and disingenuous in the way he mentioned all of it, and getting cute with this kind of thing is a bad idea.
Agreed. Even once he's done AKSHUALLYing the judge, there's still the small matter of relevance. How is a restraining order you were never granted pertinent to a copyright infringement case?

All it demonstrates is exactly what that judge told him at the time. He uses weasel words to weaponise the courts in an attempt to silence his critics. Extremely simple. Like Russ.

The only reason it was even mentioned was in retaliation to Mr Hardin bringing up Russ' extremely well-documented patterns of inappropriate behaviour and harassment. And I'm sure Rusty's had has hands smacked for his tone before.

Enjoy sanctions.

Can we get a poll for how many pages Greer's 5-pager is going to be?

- 5 or fewer
- 5 plus blank pages
- 5 plus exhibits (Hitler pics don't count toward the limit, right?)
- 6
- I'm 7
- 20+. because disobedience is justified in this case
It'll be a QR code leading to a dictated slideshow with emotional music where Russell explainins his plights for 15 minutes. (photos of Hitler included)

The judge has to accept this because it's testimony and Russell knows that testimony is something that happens in legal cases.

Can Hardin ask for a current valid address in discovery, and then get Russ sanctioned when he doesn't give it? Including postage for all the mail he's sent to date since Russ has NEVER given this court a real address?
The costs for all the postage for motions sent dealing with the discovery issues is already covered by the current sanctions. That goes back 7 months. I think trying to reach back further than that over a nickle and dimes issue wouldn't be viewed favorably, or timely.

the jurists in this case don't care about Russ's address. I'm sure it would be an issue if he tried to use it to deflect deadlines ("they served me at my fake address!") but that's not really at play because of the electronic system.

realistically, I think postage will be the least of Russ's issues if the costs start adding up

I've analyzed this case using psychometry and it's clear that there are three separate eras we can distinguish.
Initially we've had a judge who was lenient and helpful towards the in forma retardis plaintiff, to the point where this thread felt the judge is litigating for Russ. There was likely some animus towards our erverlerd then, which made the judge act even more in favour of IFP than is expected. I dub it the Go Brave Retard era.
As Mr Greer sapped all good will from his surroundings we've slowly progressed to the Get Your Rope era, as the judge stopped being as helpful and more often allowed Russ to fall flat on his own merit. That's when the judge got fed up with the plaintiff but was not yet actively malicious, allowing him to make whatever moves Russ felt were necessary. I believe if our brave composer at least tried to litigate the case he'd still have the judge's ear at this stage and there'd be a lot more doomposting here.
Finally we're now in the You've Shat Your Bed Now Sleep In It era. Reaching it was inevitable, but it's been greatly accelerated by the 6 million motions filed on Christmas. Our brave judge has had enough and is going to follow the letter of the law, which is disastrous for the plaintiff. Pettiness is at an all time high, judge is maliciously quoting Greer and limiting his ability to explain plights and hardships.

if it turns out that the judge that denied the order died mysteriously last year I'm going to start wondering...

6 and he will file it a day late.

I think we get four and a half pages of the usual plight sperging capped off with half a page at the end saying the judge is being unfair by limiting Greer to five pages and that if he could only explain it would be clear.

It's essentially the same as any other of Greer's filings, but the judge has clearly realized that you can't get to "6" or "I'm 7" if you can't go past 5. Little does the judge realize that when you try to make something foolproof, the universe merely makes a better fool.

7 pages, plus the cover page and service notice. 5 pages for arguments, only the words "Exhibit A" on page 6, and a badly distorted iPhone screenshot on page 7.

Russ has represented to the court that he's currently in an unstable housing situation, courts have been extremely sensitive to disparate social, and economic, situations. Social Justice movements actually started at law schools, when these judges were in law school.

Hardin would probably have to prove Russ is in a stable situation before they would consider doing that.

BOOM!
