The stroke mouth is the most mystifying part of DSP for me, he's never given any kind of explanation for it, and I'm sure he didn't have it until like 5 years ago, if I had one question for Steve to ask him it would be what the fuck is wrong with your mouth.

Fun reminder for people who may have forgotten this

His wife works at most 4 days a week (theory is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and maybe Friday)
She gets home about 2-3pm his time, at the latest. At the very most that's a 6 hour shift (9-3). Also, he's gone out of his way to mention "she has to wake up early" and alluded to that being 8 am, which again, for the vast majority of full-time workers, is when their work day starts!

She does not:

• Work nights
• Work weekends
• Work even remotely close to a full-time schedule

If the majority of families on the planet can manage to cook when they get home from FULL TIME JOBS, you 2 lazy fucks can figure it out.

Not to mention, "cook" = put something frozen in the microwave or oven

Second day in a row I switch on and he’s ranting madly that the entire FGC is wrong and the recluse that doesn’t play is the only one that understands fighting games.

Yesterday it was everyone knows roll back netcode is bad. Everyone. But it’s a conspiracy! They pretend it’s good so the FGC can have hype!
Today it’s some wild bullshit that sees some unhinged declaration that Micheal Jordon keeps his blessed skills and incredible work ethic secret (??).

I’m starting to believe people on here the rants are getting more common.

He is genuinely seething about people giving away meta strategies in fighting games for no reason. He doesn't understand people can just upload stuff for fun or because they like it and not to chase money.

Reminder DSP literally got popular on YouTube by spamming day 1 and earlier SF4 gameplay and meta stuff.

For peepol not listening - he is actually arguing for the FGC to go back to the arcade days where the pros would withhold the frame data and all the tech from the newbs so that they don't get good and become competition for the pros. Something that I'm sure he seethed about back in the day because everyone fucking hated him so they didn't want to teach him tech. He is seething about pros today making tutorials, combo videos and freely giving away tech to everyone and how it's somehow "monetizing" fighting games and turning it into a "biznis." Because when I think biznis and monetization I think giving information away for free just so as many people as possible can use that information to learn.

Just pathetic crab bucket mentality from a has-been when it comes to competitive play and never-was when it comes to being respected in the community.

it's impressively one of the most fucking dented things i've ever seen from him, which is pretty fucking staggering

when people find and share strategies and guides for new fighting games, it's because they are passionate about the game and want to help other players get better at the game quicker too, so they get more invested, and everyone has more fun and more competition at a higher level because people learn the game better and learning the game is more accessible

apparently what they do is "expose the meta" for money and fighting games are "disposable" because people make videos and people don't take years to "discover shit anymore"

this is just so fucking beyond retarded, i really can't believe it, he doesn't even know how the only thing he's ever been good at actually works, look at any number of other competitive games, a major example i can think of would be counter strike, there was and still is so many videos about different strategies, mechanics, tricks, etcetc that you can learn and implement in your gameplay and practice over time, how many people are playing counter strike? about a million players daily, so why are they all still playing if "there's nothing left to learn and the meta was exposed"? it's almost like dipshit phil is wrong

She's head and shoulders above Phail in that she isn't online begging for hours five or six days a week.

Khet leaves the house to go a place of employment. She presumably doesn't harass the customers for support, nor does she insist on being paid daily before doing any work just so she doesn't have to worry about it all day.

I'm not sure if she knows how scummy Phail is, how much he wastes, or that most people don't blame a cat for not being able to have a single night away from the house.

Phail has imprisoned her and Jasper in a mold-filled, crumbling middle unit. I honestly don't know if she's complicit in Phail's douche-baggery. I think she's depressed, on some kind of meds, eating her emotions (and stress), and has learned to let Phail say and do whatever to avoid hearing him shout.

If she's in on it, then shame on her. Perhaps Jasper is the only innocent. I just know I'd feel sorry for a nice person trapped with someone like Phail.

This is a bit weird but mostly very, very sad.
He clearly, desperately wants to be part of and respected by the FGC. It’s like he suddenly can see he’s wasted his life and isn’t taken serious by anyone.
