What's funny about this with context (He is discussing a slice of life anime called Onimai) is that it's not even a transgender anime that he's referring to, it's a genderbend (Think Ranma 1/2, there's no reassignment surgery) where the main character has no interests in returning to being a female after ending a drug research experiment. It was never intended as a transgender allegory. So it's not a "gender dysphoria" (mental illness) thing which is what would be required for one to consider themselves transgender, despite the blatant translation issues from the Crunchyroll translators looking to push an agenda. Either that part is clipped out of context, or he's saying something about an anime that he hasn't watched.
That said, in the case of drama channels like Rev or Hero Hei, I just think it's a situation where they smell blood in the water rather than not believing in what they say (like what most grifters do). They'd quickly run out of content and starve for ad revenue if twitter communists (and the western Hoyo/Project Moon fanbases as a whole) weren't saying retarded or inflammatory shit 24/7, and then crying from the consenquence of their public tweet getting featured in a YouTube video.
About TAL, this might be a bit of a side tangent, but something doesn't sit right with him to me. On one occasion, he was quick to propagate misinformation regarding certain game publishers having games banned from the Switch being "performance issues" rather than anything indicative of game content, just for them to reference YouTube videos that were quite clearly emulator footage (and official hardware ran much better, which can be the case for some games). One of his buddies (and Raz0rfist bootlicker), DetroitOtaku, was saying this same exact bullshit but making it extremely apparent that he was a Nintendo fanboy (paired with crying about emulators and the Steam Deck), so it's quite clear that he was just running PR for Nintendo. To no surprise, him, Raz0rfist, and DetroitOtaku were also pushing the "Chinese Games Bad" narrative while defending woke garbage under the same breath. I mostly watch his media reviews at this point, but much like with ShortFatOtaku and TBYS, who's to say when he's gonna bring his obnoxious faggotry from Twitter to his YouTube channel. Quickest way to lose respect for a YouTuber is to see if they have a Twitter account.
Honestly, the KCD2 grifting reminds me a lot about the launch for Metaphor Refantasio. Massive bait and switch (We didn't even know what the game was gonna be about until a month before release), a game director that kowtows to ESG and corporate mandates despite claiming otherwise, a downgrade from their previous games (Much like Deep Silver and Warhorse, this is the first proper Atlus game made while unde. The game is such uninteresting slop (that people insist is "just localization issues" as a defense of them "defending it") poorly immitating PS2-era JRPGs in terms of aesthetics, and I'm convinced it didn't sell past a million copies.
