What is the feasibility of Canada joining the union under a Polievre leadership?
I'll give it 1% chance. Only because I would love for it to happen.

Polievre however is not a Donald Trump, PP has never worked a day in his professional life in the private sector. He is a creature of norms bureaucracy and big government. Ultimately I dont see Canada's federal government making the prudent descion to fire itself. They have it far too easy making ridiculous amount of money running the country into the ground.

Only chance Canada has to join the union is if a strong grassroots movement demands for a referendum on the matter in the vein of the Brexit referendum.

I saw a rumor he may actually pardon Snowden.
I've seen some interviews with Trump put out recently that covers it and he states along the lines of 'Both sides have very strong opinions on it, I stay out of it.' If he does pardon Snowden, it'll be towards the end of his term. Not least because he needs the support from the RINOs and neocons until then.

When is Drumpf going to hang these nigger leftoid judges by their entrails and parade their corpses around the city? I'm tired of this return to 2016 nothing happening LAW AND ORDER shit. I need more leftoid suffering I'm almost soft
Easy now--when you're going after the big fish, you've got to be patient and give them a little slack so they let their guard down.

The problem with history is you can spend your entire life learning and still have only a fairly accurate abstraction of what individual nation states and the groups within them want and how they got there
there's just too much to learn and infinite resolution you can get down to, you have to say 'enough' somewhere or you become equivalent to a leftoid faction splitting again over the spanish revolution

perhaps if you are uncultured, some of us know everything

Imagine being the feds who were on that case. You're one of the good ones, actually doing something of note, then a few years later the guy you caught gets traded for a C-list athlete who took drugs into a nation hostile to it. I can imagine that would leave feelings of resentment :story:

I really didn’t get that at the time. EVERYONE KNOWS not to bring drugs into a foreign country. You’re even supposed to check the legality of any prescription medication and make sure you have documents with you.

I mean, Malaysia and Singapore will actually kill you for that shit

No Republican has any excuse after this.
They didn't want excuses. The Republican Party before Trump was controlled opposition. Its called the Uniparty for a reason. Trump was a threat to "Their Democracy" because he didn't subscribe to the Washington DC consensus.

FFS, even on Fox News one of their commentators said "Trump believes in Manifest Destiny" like it was a bad thing. Like bitch, lets manifest some Destiny. Shit is fucked in the West and its getting more fucked every day. Time for America to rise in might to challenge the encroaching tyranny of beaurocratic algorithms in the EU and the Perfidous Chicoms.

If it's not Snowden, I can't think of many well-known Americans in captivity.
Ksenia Karelina, maybe? She's that ballerina who Russia has imprisoned for giving like $40 to a charity in New York that works to supply Ukraine. She's being held for treason.

Only others I could think of are the six Americans Hamas (allegedly) still holds. But only getting one would be odd.

Her story sucks. I wonder if she felt pressured by her peers in the US to make that donation, too. $51.80 is a weird number to donate, so I wonder if it was a "I'm not like the other Ruskies" payment.

seriously if I ever go to Asia I'm going with brand new clothes, they will bust your ass for a random crumb of weed in a pocket stitch

I'm not entirely convinced they're still alive
The conspiratorial part of me believes the reason Hamas is stopping prisoner exchanges is because they overrepresented how many stayed alive in captivity and now have run out of prisoners to give to Israel, and can't say 'oops they're deal lol' without getting leveled by the IDF again

Possible although I’d more likely chalk the weird number up to an exchange rate thing. Like an even 1000 rubles works out to $51.80 or something like that(made up number of course. I’ve got no clue what the exchange rate is)
