My brain might have reached its Staph history storage limit. I know that in the olden days of Staph lore she talked about her ambition to join the American corps to do work overseas.

This makes me wonder though: When she says 'My first psychiatric hospitalization', what does she mean? I have no idea how the US handles a suicide attempt (especially the weak attempts she has made). Do they hold onto you in a general hospital for a set period of hours, or do you get sent to an actual psychiatric hospital for so long?
