I think the real source of that is: 1. from jew york 2. acts and looks kindof weird. The jewish admixture does tend to land in the uncanny valley. I don't personally lend that much credence to the theory since they encourage false positives all the time to smoke screen for themselves, but adding a letter to the surname wont do that much to dispel that. Better to have a correct name just kindof weird to hope for that.

I love this man's dedication to blocking ads, and wanting everyone else to also. Also, his philosophy on introducing adblockers to other people is so on point - trying to sound technical or talking down to people for not using these things will get you nowhere with people. But people frustrated with the terrible experience websites give you normally seeing your experience be completely different may strike their curiosity, and you offering to "fix" their experience is how you do it. You can tell this man has a lot of experience dealing with customers or non-techies, because those that don't often assume someone is just an idiot for not having heard of things like Ublock Origin, adblocking DNS servers, etc. Most people have no idea these things are even options, and assume this is just how the internet works.

I personally think the Mullvad adblocking DNS server is enough for me for blocking ads on devices that do not support native adblocking plugins, but maybe someday I will take a day to set this up the way he's got it. If for no other reason to learn something.

That FUTO wiki link he showed in his previous video looks like one gigantic project and a half that if I had the free time i would consider seriously trying.

The networking thing specifically would probably be the tricky part for me, as my knowledge is only good enough to set up a home network without configuring it (you know, the physical hardware hooking up part), and every IT job I've worked in always had a dedicated server/network guy handling all the companies issues while i just focused on working on desktop towers.
