Elon's a billionaire that wants to increase profit margins on his businesses, yeah, but I'm in the camp that when he saw the vehement opposition to his dumbass opinion on H1-Bs and realized that kicking the blue check off a couple people's accounts wasn't stemming the tide, he actually had to reconsider it for the first time. He's a mega autist and thus will protect his beliefs first, but even an autist can change, it's just a lot more difficult. You don't become a multi billionaire without being able to adapt. I don't trust he's altruistic but I also don't exactly buy that every CEO is a psychopath, just most of them.
I hope so. That was the first time the site rebelled against him so I’m sure it hurt.

Even Chick-Fil-A has been taking them out. I got no idea why people are even doing that aside from a guess that the money pinchers decided that more room for seating is top priority.

The people who run restaurants now have decided the worst thing for any restaurant is for people to hang around. Anything they can do to discourage that = good. More deliveries so they can get a markup = good. More space to make them pseduo logistic hubs = good. The goal is to push as much delivery and to go service as possible because its highest profit margin. The vision they are actively trying to go towards is a few cooks, no cash register, all orders have to be on the customers phone so they dont have to deal with any kind of payments on site whatsoever. If they can make it so the customer is actually not allowed inside so they can make it a ghost kitchen and do cooks for multiple different companies at once who own the payment front ends all the better. All the ingredients come from Sodexo anyways.

People wanting service = bad. People using your facilities = bad. Children = badplusbad (they make messed and noise and you have to worry about their safety, yuck) Paying waitstaff = bad. Doing customer dishes = bad. Dealing with customer garbage/waste = bad.

It’s all so tiring. First they make the restaurants bland and unappealing, and then they take out the play places. It’s like they want children to stay as far away from a McDonald’s as possible.

My Schizo-rant from a couple nights ago was right.

And adults LIKE to have color in their lives too, not just children. As a boring adult I would love to actually have a little cheer here and there, christ.

I don't know what it is, but it's crazy hearing Trump just name dropping his cabinet constantly and what the gang is up to. They sound like an actual team. I could not tell you for the fucking life of me who anybody in Biden's office was outside Kumpad, and I think Kerry is the only name from Obama that I can recall (I think he was press sec?). It's refreshing to know what my government is up to for a change. Unironically reminds me of all the old paintings I'd see of the original first cabinet under Washington and how you heard what all the boys were up to.

That Darth Maul comparison was pretty cool, to be honest.
Isn't it the opposite of what they're implying though?

The idea is Musk is the secret president/mastermind controlling Trump. In the movie Palpatine was controlling maul*.

*Unless that was retconned in some gay show.

What a happy couple. Bonded together in the holy union of their love for H1-Bs replacing american workers.
A literal African foreigner, with strong ties to China, that says American are too dumb to invest in and he needs H1Bs instead of American labor AND fires American workers for pajeets is cheered on here because he makes libs mad.

Conservatives are cooked.
Is it correct to assume that Vivek had squirmed his way into Elon's circle and filled Elon's head with pajeet propaganda that led to Elon's H1-B sperging on Xitter? Elon is very autistic after all which can make him susceptible to manipulation very easily. I think Elon stfu about it very fast after Vivek was fired, correct me if I'm wrong.

Similar to people who went through school before the change on Pluto, will continue to call Pluto a planet.
Pluto is and always will be a planet, I don't give a fuck what NASA says about it. Pluto dindu nuffin!

idk what it is about Chick-Fil-A that attracts HORDES of customers to their place. Regardless if it's inside or outside on the take-out lanes, they are ALWAYS packed.

they have good-ass food. that's why. That and their customer service is unparalleled. Seriously, compare a Chick-fil-A worker to say, a McDonald's employee, it's like night and day

Yeah, it's the opposite of what they're trying to push which is what makes it more entertaining. Disney only made Palpatine ridiculously more powerful in the sequels to a point of it being retarded, not less. "Somehow, Palpatine returned."

Those play places were nasty, puke filled, and dirty. But goddamnit, I didn’t care when I was a kid. I wish kids these days could have the cool things I had rather than being given an iPad to scroll on for 10 hours a day.
Older zoomers seem to be the last generational unit to remember them. I miss them quite a lot.

I blame a lot of it on Keynesian policies being utilitarian which trickles down to the mindset of businesses being purely utilitarian. Everything must be efficient and micromanaged. It's the same reason for bland aesthetics. Add that with government regulations and tax policies heightening their time preference, and businesses would prefer an unemployed fully automated grey box serving goyslop.

It really is just they have good food, their employees seem disciplined, and they actually manage to do the FAST part of fast food, which almost seems impossible in the current day with the quality of hires in other companies like Mcdonalds and KFC.
