Wes teased that something big was going to happen earlier today on the site. This also lines up with the Jet/Jon drama, as Jon was told he'd be able to stream on the site for the month of February until Jet canceled on him around a month before the event was supposed to start (according to whispertrigger). It would make sense that the reason why they canceled is because Jet wanted to use the site for something else.

I feel like the escalation mostly came from Sam with the rest of production not really putting a stop to it (+some loud voices in the audience). Sam was already inserting innuendos into the confessional [1] and went against his own Twitter poll [2]. It was his ultimate conclusion that "this cast is aids" [3]... Kicking out the guy the same night.
Meanwhile production was typing up messages like these:

After these events I didn't really strike me that production "hated" them (the og cast anyways) and they were hanging out on the RV trip just fine. Were they proud of them or had a (forced) "arc" like TJ had? Certainly not but they were probably even less proud of themselves given that their act 3 failed miserably - which would have happened regardless of Brandon being involved or not... just a general low effort, including handing out roses with Fishtank printouts, etc. and handing things off to Alex again.

I can't factually gauge what impact moral fagging about these events really had but I think it's not that huge. Context can explain away some of their behavior and reactions and we already knew what kind of people they were anyways... the scripted "Golden Burt" followup didn't work out either as a finale. the RV trip was what finally soured the pot and let resentment cook. It was mostly boring content which didn't feel like Fishtank, had constant downtimes, was seriously undercooked(permits anyone) and had very little transparency for the viewers (including multiple announcement on downtimes, etc. which were off by hours).

Speaking of #3... I hope he returns one day. Seemed like a good fit. Burt even payed the Fishbucks upfront to Sam for them to reach out.
I don't think much more than his business profile was found?

Some light Gregtank news from his current stream: Greg says he's planning having no downtime at all on his event with 14-15 challenges per day. I remember previously he said there would be a challenge every hour and he plans on having at least 100 challenge ideas ready before he starts. He said that he may have to reschedule the event depending on what this main site thing is. Currently it's planned for March 1st to March 7th.

When asked if he agrees with anything Jon said about Jet he said, "All I know is I like Jet and I'd like to think they're not intentionally trying to ruin their show." Also this is a drinking stream and Greg says its the first time he's had a drink since New Years.

Burt is wearing a shark suit, so he will most likely be in charge of tormenting the contestants this time.
