What culture has the worst cuisine?

Almost all Russian food is pretty terrible, with some notable exceptions. A country that thinks vodka is an adequate substitute for a meal and whose food is some combination of pork, potatoes, butter, and dill is not a good cuisine.
Get some beef stroganoff made with heavy cream and then come back to me.

Middle class white americans from states like Idaho remind me of Mormon cuisine. They cook like they're still in the 50s. Casseroles made with microwave rice and can of goop, fruit in jello, bisquick desserts, any and all diet food. It's been a while since I picked up my YW handbook but there is a massive emphasis on staying thin for god starting from age 8 onward. Sunday lessons about abstaining from sugar, fat, carbs, and salt because Joseph Smith would totally think they're addictive. Imagine spliting one pack of ramen in two and only using a sprinkle of the seasoning packet, because I don't have to. No wonder missionaries come back home fatter.
Strict Seventh Day Adventists are even worse when it comes to the food thing. They eat unseasoned vegan slop and think coffee is evil. At least strict Mormons allow black pepper. Strict SDAs are afraid it'll make them feel too excited. That seasoning packet must be Super Satan to them.

White American Boomer. Genuinely some of the most disgusting things I’ve ever tasted. I visited an American friend who has boomer parents. Slimy , bland, gelatinous. Any time I go to a restaurant in the US, if I see elderly people eating inside I immediately leave. Why are older Americans so disgusting? US south is an exception to the rule.

Also North Korean cuisine. I think it’s also foul.

bitch did you not read the notable exceptions bit? Also, you Americans keep putting mushrooms and noodles in it and call it "beef stroganoff" you filthy heathens
Someone at a ROCOR Church I attended in the Philippines tried to recreate the original Olivier Salad. He was an old Russian dude from Astrakhan. Honestly I liked it but I am sure it’s not what Russians commonly eat as Olivier Salad.

Most of my ancestry is actually Czech and we have some common Mushroom soup dishes that I really enjoy. However I am told Russians use aspic in a lot of dishes which I really can’t stand.
Mexico, they have 5 ingredients, one being a soap plant, and thnk if they wrap it differently it's a new food.
Totally disagree here. Mexican cuisine outside of Mexico unless you count South Texas (nothing north of Houston anyway) is not Mexican food and I can’t stand it either. There’s some very good and complex dishes and a lot of simple comfort food. Is it world class? Not at all. But it’s pretty decent. If I had to pick a bad Latin American Cuisine it’s from Nicaragua. I say this as someone who regularly hangs out with a Nicaraguan who is half Italian and half native and agrees with me.

Peruvian cuisine is a hidden gem.

Have a buddy who was raised Messianic Jewish and then Seventh Day before he became Eastern Orthodox. He is still vegetarian and eats absolutely terrible food. His wife has helped him improve the palate some introducing Vietnamese and Cambodian spices but it’s still not the best.

You should see the abomination we call goulash. It's good, but the only thing it has in common with actual goulash is the paprika(which you can't even taste) and meat. It's also called American chop suey. That name is better, but I am too used to it being called goulash.

I like to put Tajin in mine.

I prefer real Gulyas. But my old roommate you to make this stuff about once a month.

I would load mine with Tabasco and eat it happily.

Western "everything you didn't grow yourself is bad for you" idiots.

I'm talking about those people that go gluten-free because it's trendy, vegan because the poor animals and also meat is bad, quinoa-is-the-best-invention-ever juice cleanse people. Because that has to be its own culture even if I don't know the word for it. The kind of person who would end up on a ChubbyEmu video because they tried to cleanse their colon by drinking a liter of soy sauce (this actually happened). The kind of people who unironically drink "alkaline water". There's being stupid for a TikTok bit or because you don't understand why the dark web is risky, and then there's being stupid because you believe everything these homeopathy morons tell you.

More to the point of their cuisine, these types of people tend to make off-putting substitutions for foods they "can't" eat and get all offended when you justifiably prefer the real thing. There's a reason we use wheat flour instead of rice flour for bread. There's a reason we use milk and butter instead of almond milk and palm oil. I mean, things like vegan chocolate are fine, but try to put that shit in a gluten-free cookie and you have a crumbly, dry, disappointing mess. Vegan cheese is an actual affront to humanity.

It's okay to be gluten-free if you have a sensitivity or allergy to it. But these people skip gluten because they don't understand it is literally not harmful to you otherwise.

Most American food is pretty bad when compared to the rest of the world

People who say most American food is bad probably only tasted some shitty fast food or associate American food with McDonalds and shit.

I think American food is great, Thanksgiving food is delicious, smoked meats, bbq meats - nobody does bbq food like Americans, good Tex Mex etc How food varies between states, you ever had a creole or a cajun dish? Real southern fried chicken?

Thanksgiving food is delicious,
you think the worst meat you can legally buy and a bunch of basic sides are good?

the very cost friendly gobbler never made it big in europe because the meat is so horrible that nobody will buy it over chicken. its something poor woman eat on their bread.

What do you mean legally buy? Like you can't buy all the other meals all over the world?

Turkey is a holiday meat that you eat once or twice a year, I mean we eat carp for Xmas, I know which one I'd rather have.
Also turkey is popular in Europe, you will find it in every store so I don't know what the fuck you're talking about

Southeast Asia has the worst food. I was introduced to it by Philipino dudes. It's called Balut. And you should not look into it further.
If you think balut is the worst you've clearly never heard of casu martzu. Originates from an Italian region and banned across the EU because "only food safe for consumption can be sold". Fucking vile.
