In the meantime, an AfD member of the Bavarian state parliament submitted an official inquiry to the government (translated):
"Why has the suspect, a 24-year-old Afghan who drove into a crowd in Munich on February 13th 2025, seriously injuring several people, not been deported despite being required to leave the country? How long has this person been in Germany, and have they previously come into conflict with the law?"

Why the fuck did he even have the ability to drive? I'd assume that he'd have an Afghan driver's license and was using an international permit like every other tourist? If so, why the actual fuck is the German government recognizing the validity of driving tests in Afghanistan - the poster child of shithole countries.
I assumed the Germans, famous for fastidiously following safety standards and regulations to the letter, would look at an Afghan license and simply say "Nein, das ist nicht gut."
I guess now I know how Neville Chamberlain felt after the Munich Agreement went sideways.

I'm so tired of reading about "asylum seekers" that commit crimes in the country they ostensibly owe their life to, but I'm even more tired of reading about how they get a slap on the wrist and nothing else.

You don't understand, because Germany was literally Hitler, there is a humanitarian obligation to expropriate, humiliate, kill, rape, torture, maim, and denounce all German people for the benefit of brown-skinned people.

In most of Western Europe it's a no questions asked policy, as long as you request your license to be made valid within a certain amount of time after arrival. They don't care at all. I used to work with expats and it's a goddamn miracly none of them killed anyone.
