Mumsnet has a series of fast-moving threads on this tribunal (threads top out at 1000 posts and they're currently on #14) and at some point this morning Upton referred to his wife as "they". This hasn't been explained as far as I remember.

A facebook group I was in had a very precious and needy Janny/moderator. No names, as I dont want to powerlevel and shit, so you will just have to take my word for it.
I became convinced that this Janny was actually a man who had killed his wife and was skin walking her, as "she" looked very mannish.
Other group members tried to say this was ridiculous, but I am more convinced of it these days.

I think in the second picture he’s wearing the earrings his wife was wearing in the wedding picture.
I sometimes steal my husband’s hoodies but even if he wore earrings, I don’t think we’d share jewellery. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve kept my wedding jewellery in a special box and only wear it at special occasions even though it wasn’t expensive or anything.

This is the transcript of the tribunal case about the nurse not wanting to get changed in front of the gigahon doctor. It includes his full testimony, which is utterly batshit. At the end he pretty much admits that he made a patient safety issue complaint to try and get her sacked because he wanted to "get in first" before she did something to him. All she actually did was tell him he shouldn't be in the women's changing rooms.

Incidentally, no idea of the gender status of his wife (as someone said above, she's been referred to as "they" in his testimony) but she has been going to the court with him most days so I assume she's still with him despite him skinwalking her.
Mrs Upton does not appear to have been asked to testify, despite them calling the nurse's husband and daughter to the stand to demonstrate that they too had wrongthink views. However, Dr Ted has had a full complement of "support" people with him in court every day including her. Not in the public viewing room but actually in court. At one point there were so many that the judge had to move them as they were so close to the claimant that they could read her barrister's notes....... but they weren't there to intimidate her of course!
