I feel like Burt would be a great addition to S4 (unless they go hardcore on the fan shit - then it would be terrible) as someone who just lives in the penthouse. Don't have any of the crew interact with him or acknowledge him outside of other fish asking. Limit any response to "Oh, that's just Burt" and "He lives here" then move on. Maybe have Burt tone it down the first week and slowly ramp up.

This is gay and lazy. The reason they're doing this is because the wiggers would rather do whippets than even attempt to competently run the show. This puts the bulk of the effort on the applicants and the wiggers just pick whoever the fans tell them to, which will result in a shitty season as the fans don't know what's good 99% of the time.

He said all of this as well as saying it's hard for him to hassle people these days because of it. He said something close to "there's an expiration date on the hassle stuff and it's hard for me to tap into that anymore"

I think it's safe to say it also extends to Fishtank due to Jet's words of wanting FT to be more fun and friendly as well as the example Frank set with his "hassling" of Binx and Payton, and the fact that he literally said it on FT lol. I wonder if those hits to the head from Payton is what's making him not want to hassle anymore, he did say last night that Payton punched him harder than he's ever been punched lol.

Obviously I hope he doesn't stop hassling but it's not sounding very promising for Hassle fans honestly. Especially since he's been teasing doing something about DSP (boring) for like 2 years.

was really excited for s4 until I saw this. Did they not learn anything from s2? Based on their discussions towards the tail end of s3 it sounded like they wanted to refine the concept even further

i said it before and i will say it again, burt is the perfect fatty replacement, nobody likes fatty anymore and he was stale by season 2, in season 3 he was so forgetabble and annoying that i struggle to remenber one moment that involved him. Fatty was in season 1 because he was creepy and disgusting to make the fish uncomfotable, burt is much better and much more funny at this job, his interactions with people IRL were hysterical

Damn that's retarded of Jet. The last thing anyone wants is a Fishtank that's indistinguishable from other reality shows. The tormenting and fucking with people is what makes the show Fishtank.

The only moment I can think of in season 3 where Fatty made me laugh was when they were on the street I believe in Vegas? And Fatty instead of asking normal people for cash exclusively was asking black homeless people for money which was so abusrd it made me tear up laughing. He was incredibly forgettable this season.

A season with fans can work as we saw in season 1 production just has to be selective with who they cast which is not something I see happening. I think if we get another season of fan casting we will see more Tay's and Jimmy's winking at the camera and making Sam Hyde shooter jokes.
