I've tried making sugar wax three times. The first time I overshot by 20 degrees so it turned into a hard ribbon when I pulled it. Second time I pulled it off the stove early and got it to 240F as recommended but it was very light in color. I let it cool to room temp and while it was at a soft ball stage, it was not pulling up any hair. I let my hair grow out to a point where it should be easy to pull (close to half an inch) and it wasn't touching it. Third time I got somewhere in between at 245F and again, it turned into ribbons. Rather than waste more sugar, I just shaved.

I have seen wax ready strips but they have very mixed reviews. I'm skeptical about that since it could be user error, it's very specific in you needing to pull your skin taut and press the strip down firmly then flick it away in a specific direction. I've waxed before so this isn't news to me but I don't trust random amazon reviewers to tell me if they suck. Has anyone tried them?

You all disgust me. If you remove hair from any part of your body, you are an easily-influenced weak-minded insecure womanlet pussy faggot. You know why males don’t shave? Because they can think for themselves. They aren’t retarded little cattle doing whatever people tell them to, like all of you shavers/waxxers/epilators/chemical burners/etceteras. I do not respect any of you, it is too late, and you are NGMI. Kill yourselves.
I’m happy to die in my smooth, well moisturized skin suit. Groom yourself, or don’t, it’s no skin off my taint.

If I have some date or occasion to attend, I will happily shave, but otherwise because I dont work and my man is a 5hr plane ride away, I sneak by without shaving more than once every 2 weeks sometimes 3. It's really nice to not have to pay for razors. But the instant hes coming to see me, I am shaved top to bottom like a seal. Smooth af.

I sweat too much if I don't. I don't smell any different, surprisingly, but ai always seem to have a 5 oclock under, even on the same day of shaving.

I only epilate my armpit and leg hair for the summer when I wear shorts but I often wear long skirts during the summer too, so I sometimes don't bother. You're not going to force me to shave my pubic hair though, I read somewhere that it's good for your vaginal flora and I just personally like how it looks. I feel naked without it, I believe in bush supremacy and if my bf didn't like it I'd break up with him

I shave all the coarse hair, all the time, because I don't like the way it feels.

It would be one thing if it was all the nice, fine hair like the arms, but nooo...

i convinced my boyfriend to try shaving his armpits once by showing him a picture of this shitty yotuber doing something like this in a tank top.
no, i will not go looking for the exact screen grab (it was awful). somehow the visual was so rancid that something in his head "clicked".
he says he'll never go back to not doing it, for several reasons.
honestly, i've been doing it so long that i trust his glowing night-and-day experience review more than any i could ever give.

now i'll just be adding the act man to my channel filter, again...

I use the Veet wax strips on my legs, and they work pretty well. Not so much for armpits though. I broke down and got a hard wax melting cup that you stick in the microwave and it’s soooo good for waxing pits, but I still use the Veet strips for my legs because it’s faster.

I also had a lot of problems with sugar waxing, I really wanted to like it but it always got everywhere.

(To answer the poll question, I sometimes wax my pits, mainly during the summer or when I’m swimming regularly. I also don’t really wear tank tops. I don’t like to do it tbh because I have very sensitive skin and I wear very strong deodorant, so I’ve ended up with very painful rashes in the past due to careless shaving/waxing. I don’t shave at all because I always manage to nick myself and bleed like a stuck pig)

I sugar wax, and I usually cook the sugar for about ten minutes once it comes to a boil. Two tablespoons of lemon juice, two of water, half a cup of sugar. My trick is to slowly dribble it in a bowl of cool water and try to knead it as fast as possible. Kneading it until it becomes consistent will stop it from being a gooey mess.

It might not be pulling up hair because your skin is still sweaty. You can use any kind of baby powder or corn starch and then apply the wax.

I learned how to make mine from this woman.
