Never turn down a buyout from your employer. It's a giant red flag that bad things are on the horizon and they're willing to pay you to get away clean. When I heard only 4% took the deal I was a little horrified to realize that 96% of civil servants are actual retards.
It depends. Some companies have a policy that prevents you from being rehired if you take a buyout even if it's third party contracting. This doesn't matter for 95% of the population, but if your niche has a major player you are barred from working with, it can be a death sentence for your career. leaving to somewhere else instead of taking the buyout might be a better option. You only need to really consider this option if you are mid career, late fuck it. Early you don't have a choice.

The fact that companies (or even the goddamned president) cant fire people is one of the many parts of clown world that needs to be fixed.
Betsy Devos, Trump's former secretary of education, had people in the Dept of Education tell her they wouldn't do what she wanted to her face and she was astonished to learn she couldn't fire them.

Federal worker unions have filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration for reduction in force actions and firing of probationary employees.

This is going to be fun. FDR allowed the creation of Federal Work Force unions by benign neglect. The democrats codified the American Federation of Government Workers via the Federal Workers Reform Act, which was passed by Congress. A true gordians knot of law, tradition and practice.

Unless of course a President comes along and say ARTICLE II BITCHES! Fuck Congress and their Laws(Article 1) Fuck the courts! (Article 3). I am in charge of Article II, and since these are all Article II subjects, fuck em, fuck em all, I don't like em, I am the President, the Constitution says I am the President, they all work for the President, and now I say they don't!

Do something about it!

Since he's being talked about right now here is a relevant James Carville clip.

"I don't know how you accentuate. Do you oppose one thing? Do you oppose all five? Is it a personnel issue? Is it a policy issue? ... I'm struggling here a little bit, so maybe some of our really smart viewers can help us untangle it a little bit. It's really tangled now because no one knows where to land. It's all too incomprehensible."

FIRE THEM ALL DONALD. OUT OF A CANNON. Why the fuck should the public sector have unions? They don't come and negotiate with taxpayers, their actual employers. DESTROY THE TEACHERS UNIONS DAHNALD THEN THE DELEGATES.

I'm curious what the future will look like for the Democratic party because they will most certainly lose the next election. Surely they will lose funding from their elites because they can't produce results. Will they split off into a new party? Rebrand into something else?

Edit: people rating me optimistic, I get it but the Dems are tripling down on identity politics. It would have to be retardation on an unfound scale for them to win.

Veteran Democratic Party strategist James Carville is reportedly furious about the direction the party is headed, expressing to colleagues: “I dedicated the best years of my f-cking life to this party, only to see it taken over by a bunch of stupid motherfu-kers. Everything’s gone to sh-t.”

Carville is especially livid following the DNC leadership election, reportedly saying, “Who are these people? This David Hogg guy and that other sissy (referring to Malcolm Kenyatta) come out of goddamn left field. Well, there goes the male vote forever. Thanks guys! We’re f-cked and we deserve it.”
If he wasn't such an abrasive sack of shit I'd almost feel sorry for him.

That said, he's not wrong about fags like Hogg driving away the white male vote even harder than they already had. I don't care that he's only been DNC vice chair for like 2 weeks, anyone with a brain already knows that gambit ain't gonna work.

It was all seething under the surface for years, and Trump either by serendipity or uncanny awareness was able to tap into that with bringing RFK Jr into this.

"Let businesses do what they want" had always been a right-wing thing. The problem is, over the last 15 years or so, we've seen businesses embrace DEI, adopt mask mandates, celebrate Pride Month, and so on. Then we started understanding what "regulatory capture" is. Then they started openly talking about how much their profits depend on slave labor and abusing the H1b program. The business world figured the right would remain their friend for ideological reasons, so sucking up to the left was win-win. They figured wrong. Oh well.

Dustbin of history. The Clinton machine and the Gerentocracy at the top murdered the true talent in the cradle. It's why Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic Party Congresswoman from their Hawaii stronghold is now the DNI under Donald Trump and the Republicans. It's why all their "rising stars" are vapid idiots like AOC, Kamala and Newsom. The Democrats are dead, walking. And once the people in charge finally do die for real, there will be nothing left.

The Republicans on the other hand have seen a new rebirth. McCain is fucking dead. Mitch the Bitch is barely alive and in a wheel chair, while JD Vance, Jim Jordan, Tulsi and many other young (in political terms) people lead the Party into the future. Led by the great redeemer of the Boomer generation. Donald Trump, who died for the sins of the Boomer and rose again in Glory by Heavens will to render judgement upon the Liberal order.

The democrats have nothing. They have no policy, no vision of the future, and not even faith. The Republicans on the other hand have policy, a vision and faith in the future.

The culture wars have reached the Culmination. Let Heaven render its verdict and decree the manifestation of its will.

Their only options are to rebrand or die. The republicans are too unified behind MAGA, splitting the ticket would only guarantee defeat in every election.
