He would pick up hookers if he wasn't deathly afraid of getting caught. That's the big thing with him. He's terrified that the moment he approaches a hooker a dozen cops will be on him and he'll have to go to jail.
His desire for 9's and 10's is because he thinks of himself as a superstud who's devastatingly handsome and he shouldn't have to settle and if his face only worked he'd be drowning in pussy. But if you look at the whores that work in brothels they're maybe, at most, a 7 and that's on a good day. You know, not ugly per se but hardly drop dead gorgeous.

IIRC that was in Utah and it was just for his own "personal use", not an "audition" for his imaginary brothel. If memory serves, he complained because she used filters on her photos online so didn't look like he thought she would, he took her to dinner where he complained about having to buy her alcohol, and at the end of it all he claimed he wasn't feeling it so ended up getting a lap dance or something, not actually bedding her. I wouldn't be surprised if he did pick up other illegal hookers in Utah, but that's the one that I actually remember him talking about.

I know he's says his first time with a hooker was the first time he felt loved (he doesnt understand the concept of love) and that with his fucked up face it's categorically impossible that he could ever have sex with a woman without paying (plenty of other disabled pople seem to manage it)... but his fixation on prostitution seems to go beyond that. If he met some poor demented woman who actually wanted to have sex with him he would probably want to roleplay as a john and a hooker. As for the frequent adage that Russell is "God's favorite idiot" I haven't really been able to find a source for it.

He needs therapy. I wish there was some way, some machination by which we could get a court to order it for him. Not anger management (which I think was ordered at the time of the Erika thing?), but some long-term CBT or DBT with a MALE shrink. He would never go voluntarily, of course.

In addition to being chronically broke, he's also apparently pretty easy to scam and has been taken for money by those types before.
He's bitched and complained a few times about online girls he's never met IRL ghosting and blocking him after he paid their phone bill/car payment/whatever.
