The reason Bex is mad about this - Daniel and Sam are the ones she's having beef with right now, and they are both the only "partners" with money coming in. I'm guessing for now Daniel is basically not inclined to pay for anything that isn't to do with Hannah because they are "not together" at the moment & Sam's currently on an atheism kick to try and assert himself somewhat. So the only cuck that was likely to shower her with gifts and adoration is Jackson, which is unfortunate because he's unemployed and broke.

We all know Bex doesn't appreciate shows of love or appreciation that doesn't have some material aspect to it so Musicals and sulking it is. Because anything Jackson will do can't be posted on Bluesky for likes and attention.

Sam ,even stoned out of his head, isn't wrong. This relationship isn't going to work long term - his mistake is to believe this situation is workable in some way.

Faith is a really difficult roadbump in relationships. It can be worked around if you come from different faiths, but really depends what your personal stances are. Sam sounds like he's really got 0 interest in religion, while Bex eventually browbeat Daniel to "convert" when he was your average athiest. She basically wants Sam to be the new Daniel, but he's resisting.

Regardless if this is how he feels, he's really better calling things off and moving on with his life....but of course now that's pretty difficult to do now he's living with them. Not that an exit strategy is impossible - but his choices have made it such that he's gonna have a tough time untangling himself from Bex without significant grief that he's going to struggle to deal with thanks to his lack of self worth.
