I was chuckling at OP gushing over her color choice for the silicone sleeve she picked out, but now I’m confused. Is the sleeve to fill out her arm post destroying it? She mentions getting it from the hand surgeon. I initially read it as a penis sleeve like the ones some pooners try to use for penetration.

Silicone lined bandages over healing scars helps them stay moisturized and so they heal faster and the scars are less noticeable in the long run. I don’t think I truly realised how stereotypically ‘unattractive’ the non-airbrushed body is. All the posters, ads and films we see, and all the shooped pictures on social media, yet when it comes down to reality, these bodies are underneath all that. Flawed, wrinkled, maybe even scarred or tattooed, but ultimately whole and natural.

Then you see the results of this ridiculous, mutilating and inhuman surgery. Every single person in these photos looks better in the ‘before’ compared to the after. Every single surgical outcome photo looks like a healed wound, a scar - a testament to an injury the body shouldn’t have received. Not one of these people looks natural in their post-surgical state. None of them.

I’d say it’s sad, but it’s simply testament to the stupidity and greed of mankind, really.
